V meteorologii by to nap\u0159. mohlo b\u00fdt \u0159e\u0161en\u00ed teoretick\u00fdch ot\u00e1zek, problematika m\u011b\u0159\u00edc\u00edch metod, z\u00e1\u0159en\u00ed, zm\u011bny klimatu, studium jev\u016f ve vysok\u00e9 atmosf\u00e9\u0159e atd. V takto nebo podobn\u011b \u00fazce vyhra\u00adn\u011bn\u00fdch sm\u011brech katedra tradici nem\u00e1, i kdy\u017e mo\u017en\u00e1 v po\u00adv\u011bdom\u00ed odborn\u00e9 ve\u0159ejnosti se pova\u017euj\u00ed za tradici ot\u00e1zky spojen\u00e9 s \u0159e\u0161en\u00edm objektivizace p\u0159edpov\u011bdi po\u010das\u00ed. Osobn\u011b se domn\u00edv\u00e1m, \u017ee d\u016fle\u017eit\u011bj\u0161\u00ed \u201etradic\u00ed&#8221; je poskytov\u00e1n\u00ed z\u00e1\u00adkladn\u00edch znalost\u00ed, kter\u00e9 jsou v souladu se sou\u010dasn\u00fdmi poznatky oboru. Proto se nezbytn\u011b n\u00e1pl\u0148 studia m\u011bnila a do zna\u010dn\u00e9 m\u00edry se p\u0159izp\u016fsobovala po\u017eadavk\u016fm, kter\u00e9 Sv\u011btov\u00e1 meteorologick\u00e1 organizace doporu\u010dovala pro vysoko\u0161kolsky vzd\u011blan\u00e9 pracovn\u00edky v oboru.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">2. <em>M\u016f\u017eete stanovit na z\u00e1klad\u011b obsahov\u00e9ho zam\u011b\u0159en\u00ed v\u00fduky ur\u010dit\u00e9 v\u00fdznamn\u00e9 d\u00edl\u010d\u00ed etapy, kter\u00e9 charakte\u00adristick\u00fdm zp\u016fsobem ovlivnily nejen zp\u016fsob v\u00fduky, ale i \u201ekvalifikaci&#8221; absolvent\u016f?<\/em><\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Jak jsem se zm\u00ednil, v\u00fduka meteorologie na Matematic\u00adko-fyzik\u00e1ln\u00ed fakult\u011b UK v Praze se p\u0159izp\u016fsobovala nov\u00fdm v\u011bdeck\u00fdm poznatk\u016fm a po\u017eadavk\u016fm praktick\u00e9 slu\u017eby. Krom\u011b dobr\u00e9ho p\u0159ehledu p\u0159es meteorologii (vyj\u00edmaje n\u00e1\u00admo\u0159n\u00ed meteorologii, p\u0159\u00edp. biometeorologii), mysl\u00edm, \u017ee absolventi maj\u00ed solidn\u00ed znalosti nap\u0159. z ot\u00e1zek t\u00fdkaj\u00edc\u00edch se zne\u010di\u0161t\u011bn\u00ed atmosf\u00e9ry, antropogenn\u00edch vliv\u016f na klima a jeho zm\u011bny, p\u0159\u00edp. i vyu\u017eit\u00ed matematick\u00fdch a statistick\u00fdch metod p\u0159i \u0159e\u0161en\u00ed praktick\u00fdch \u00faloh. Mnohdy se proto mohou uplatnit i mimo obor. V\u00fduka za n\u011bkolik des\u00edtek let se po\u00adstupn\u011b p\u0159izp\u016fsobovala zejm\u00e9na po\u017eadavk\u016fm praxe. Proto nechci stanovovat ur\u010dit\u00e9 d\u00edl\u010d\u00ed etapy ve zm\u011bn\u00e1ch, ostatn\u011b nejsem velk\u00fdm p\u0159\u00edznivcem n\u011bjak\u00fdch revolu\u010dn\u00edch zm\u011bn, ze\u00adjm\u00e9na ne ve v\u00fduce.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\"><em>3. Po roce 1989 do\u0161lo v na\u0161em oboru k d\u016fle\u017eit\u00fdm zm\u011b\u00adn\u00e1m (kvalitn\u00ed v\u00fdpo\u010detn\u00ed technika, zaveden\u00ed automa\u00adtick\u00fdch pozorovac\u00edch syst\u00e9m\u016f aj.). N\u011bkte\u0159\u00ed z absolvent\u016f katedry se \u00fasp\u011b\u0161n\u011b prosadili i v zahrani\u010d\u00ed, o \u010dem\u017e sv\u011bd\u010d\u00ed nap\u0159. spolupr\u00e1ce s M\u00e9t\u00e9o France na v\u00fdvoji modelu ALADIN. Jak\u00fd je V\u00e1\u0161 n\u00e1zor na tyto kontakty a na do\u00adsa\u017een\u00fd posun v odborn\u00e9 p\u0159\u00edprav\u011b? <\/em><\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Po mnoha letech v\u00fdrazn\u00e9 izolace je t\u0159eba ka\u017ed\u00fd mezi\u00adn\u00e1rodn\u00ed kontakt na \u0159e\u0161en\u00ed v\u011bdeck\u00fdch \u00fakol\u016f uv\u00edtat a rozumn\u011b podporovat. Ot\u00e1zka je ov\u0161em formulov\u00e1na v p\u0159\u00edli\u0161 \u00fazk\u00e9 n\u00e1\u00advaznosti na model ALADIN. Jedn\u00e1 se o jednor\u00e1zovou akci. i kdy\u017e vzhledem k rozs\u00e1hlosti trv\u00e1 n\u011bkolik let; nemysl\u00edm, \u017ee n\u011bjak\u00fdm podstatn\u011bj\u0161\u00edm zp\u016fsobem by se m\u011bl m\u011bnit obsah v\u00fduky poslucha\u010d\u016f meteorologie na fakult\u011b. Pokud je mi zn\u00e1mo, ale mohu se m\u00fdlit, spolupr\u00e1ce spo\u010d\u00edvala p\u0159edev\u0161\u00edm v matematicko-technick\u00fdch \u00fakolech a nikoliv ve formulo\u00adv\u00e1n\u00ed modelu po meteorologick\u00e9 str\u00e1nce. Domn\u00edv\u00e1m se, \u017ee v podobn\u00e9 spolupr\u00e1ci by mohli \u00fasp\u011b\u0161n\u011b vystupovat i absolventi jin\u00fdch sm\u011br\u016f na Matematicko-fyzik\u00e1ln\u00ed fakult\u011b UK, nap\u0159. matematick\u00e9ho nebo fyzik\u00e1ln\u00edho modelov\u00e1n\u00ed, p\u0159\u00edp. i teoretick\u00e9 fyziky. Z tohoto d\u016fvodu tedy nepokl\u00e1d\u00e1m za v\u00fdznamn\u00e9 m\u011bnit obsah v\u00fduky meteorologie.<\/span><\/p><\/div><div><p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">4. <em>Rozd\u011blen\u00ed \u010ceskoslovenska se nijak nedotklo v\u00fduky meteorologie a klimatologie v \u010cesk\u00e9 republice. Do\u00admn\u00edv\u00e1te se, \u017ee v\u00fduka na p\u0159\u00edrodov\u011bdeck\u00fdch fakult\u00e1ch v Brn\u011b a Praze a na Va\u0161\u00ed fakult\u011b pokr\u00fdv\u00e1 pot\u0159eby v\u00fdzkumn\u00fdch a provozn\u00edch \u00fastav\u016f, nebo si mysl\u00edte, \u017ee by bylo \u017e\u00e1douc\u00ed v\u00edce diferencovat v\u00fduku, nap\u0159. pod\u00adstatn\u011b intenzivn\u011bj\u0161\u00edm studiem matematiky a kyberne\u00adtiky u V\u00e1s?<\/em><\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Po\u017eadavky a pot\u0159eby v\u00fdzkumn\u00fdch a provozn\u00edch \u00fastav\u016f t\u00fdkaj\u00edc\u00ed se meteorologie jsou velmi rozs\u00e1hl\u00e9. Dal\u0161\u00ed dife\u00adrenciace u tak mal\u00e9ho oboru, jak\u00fdm meteorologie je, nen\u00ed \u00fanosn\u00e1. Nelze p\u0159ece vychov\u00e1vat \u00fazce zam\u011b\u0159en\u00e9ho speci\u00adalistu pro n\u011bjak\u00e9 m\u00edsto, na kter\u00e9 mo\u017en\u00e1 ani nebude cht\u00edt v budoucnosti nastoupit a nenastoup\u00ed. Pokud se t\u00fdk\u00e1 intenzivn\u011bj\u0161\u00edho studia matematiky a kybernetiky v r\u00e1mci meteorologie, nemysl\u00edm, \u017ee je mo\u017en\u00e9 a nutn\u00e9. Pokud \u00fastavy po\u017eaduj\u00ed hlub\u0161\u00ed znalosti v t\u011bchto sm\u011brech, mohou zam\u011bstn\u00e1\u00advat absolventy jin\u00fdch zam\u011b\u0159en\u00ed, o nich\u017e jsem se zm\u00ednil v p\u0159edch\u00e1zej\u00edc\u00ed ot\u00e1zce.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\"><em>5. Jak\u00fd je z\u00e1jem o studium meteorologie &#8211; m\u00e1 vzestup\u00adnou nebo sestupnou \u00farove\u0148? Domn\u00edv\u00e1te se v t\u00e9to sou\u00advislosti, \u017ee nov\u00fd vysoko\u0161kolsk\u00fd z\u00e1kon po\u010d\u00edtaj\u00edc\u00ed s p\u0159\u00ed\u00adsp\u011bvky rodi\u010d\u016f na studium ovlivn\u00ed po\u010det z\u00e1jemc\u016f o obor, kter\u00fd rozhodn\u011b nelze pova\u017eovat za finan\u010dn\u011b atraktivn\u00ed?<\/em><\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Z\u00e1jem o studium meteorologie je ji\u017e \u0159adu let na p\u0159ibli\u017en\u011b stejn\u00e9 \u00farovni. V\u00fdjimkou byl jen rok 1991, kdy po uvoln\u011bn\u00ed tehdej\u0161\u00edch studijn\u00edch p\u0159edpis\u016f se p\u0159ihl\u00e1sil \u201erekordn\u00ed&#8221; po\u010det poslucha\u010d\u016f. Odhadnout dal\u0161\u00ed v\u00fdvoj z\u00e1jmu student\u016f o me\u00adteorologii nen\u00ed snadn\u00e9, zejm\u00e9na v souvislosti s p\u0159edpokl\u00e1\u00addan\u00fdm \u201e\u0161koln\u00fdm&#8221;. Objevuje se toti\u017e tendence, a to nikoliv pouze v meteorologii, \u017ee poslucha\u010di po \u00fasp\u011b\u0161n\u00e9m ukon\u010den\u00ed studia a z\u00edsk\u00e1n\u00ed p\u0159\u00edslu\u0161n\u00e9ho vysoko\u0161kolsk\u00e9ho diplomu od\u00adch\u00e1zej\u00ed do finan\u010dn\u011b atraktivn\u011bj\u0161\u00edch zam\u011bstn\u00e1n\u00ed mimo obor. Tato tendence bude z\u0159ejm\u011b trvalej\u0161\u00edho r\u00e1zu a na trhu pr\u00e1ce bude v\u00fdrazn\u011b ovliv\u0148ovat n\u00e1stup odborn\u00edk\u016f do specializo\u00advan\u00fdch instituc\u00ed.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\"><em>6. Jak\u00e1 je \u00farove\u0148 spolupr\u00e1ce s \u010cesk\u00fdm hydrometeoro\u00adlogick\u00fdm \u00fastavem z hlediska dlouhodob\u00fdch zku\u0161enos\u00adt\u00ed i sou\u010dasn\u00e9ho stavu?<\/em><\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Spolupr\u00e1ci s \u010cesk\u00fdm hydrometeorologick\u00fdm \u00fastavem mohu posuzovat pouze z hlediska katedry. Podle m\u00e9ho n\u00e1\u00adzoru byla n\u011bkolik des\u00edtek let na velmi dobr\u00e9 \u00farovni, a to nejenom v r\u00e1mci v\u011bdeck\u00e9 spolupr\u00e1ce, ale i po pedagogick\u00e9 str\u00e1nce (extern\u00ed u\u010ditel\u00e9 a \u010dlenov\u00e9 zku\u0161ebn\u00edch komis\u00ed z pra\u00adcovn\u00edk\u016f \u010cHM\u00da, praxe student\u016f o pr\u00e1zdnin\u00e1ch na praco\u00advi\u0161t\u00edch \u010cHM\u00da apod.). Sou\u010dasn\u00fd stav jist\u011b l\u00e9pe posoud\u00ed p\u0159edstavitel\u00e9 \u010cHM\u00da, osobn\u011b se domn\u00edv\u00e1m, \u017ee spolupr\u00e1ce se nezhor\u0161ila, p\u0159\u00edpadn\u011b podstatn\u011b nezm\u011bnila.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\"><em>7. V roce 1995 uplyne 90 let od doby, kdy V. Bjerknes zformuloval fyzik\u00e1ln\u011b-matematick\u00e9 podm\u00ednky pro nu\u00admerickou p\u0159edpov\u011b\u010f po\u010das\u00ed. Po ne\u00fasp\u011b\u0161n\u00e9m Richardsonov\u011b pokusu ve 20. letech do\u0161lo sice k zapomn\u011bn\u00ed t\u00e9to metody, ale s rozvojem v\u00fdpo\u010detn\u00ed techniky po dru\u00adh\u00e9 sv\u011btov\u00e9 v\u00e1lce do\u0161lo k bou\u0159liv\u00e9mu rozvoji p\u0159edpo\u00adv\u011bdn\u00edch metod a v\u00fdsledky jsou nepopirateln\u00e9. Domn\u00ed\u00adv\u00e1te se, \u017ee je mo\u017en\u00e9 i nad\u00e1le aplikovat klasickou nor\u00adskou synoptickou \u0161kolu na v\u00fdsledky numerick\u00fdch me\u00adtod? Jste naklon\u011bn my\u0161lence, \u017ee pojem klasick\u00e9 fronty se z numerick\u00fdch p\u0159edpov\u011bdn\u00edch metod vytr\u00e1c\u00ed? <\/em><\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Zpochyb\u0148ovat v\u00fdsledky fyzik\u00e1ln\u011b matematick\u00fdch metod\u00a0 pro p\u0159edpov\u011b\u010f tlakov\u00e9ho a teplotn\u00edho pole na n\u011bkolik dn\u00ed dop\u0159edu nem\u016f\u017ee \u017e\u00e1dn\u00fd soudn\u00fd odborn\u00edk, proto\u017ee ve v\u0161ech sm\u011brech vysoce p\u0159ekon\u00e1vaj\u00ed mo\u017enosti klasick\u00e9 norsk\u00e9 \u0161koly pri p\u0159edpov\u011bdi tzv. synoptick\u00e9 situace. Ov\u0161em vyu\u017eit\u00ed pojmu \u201efronta&#8221; p\u0159i p\u0159edpov\u011bdi po\u010das\u00ed nen\u00ed ve sporu s objektivn\u00edmi p\u0159edpov\u011bdn\u00edmi v\u00fdsledky celkov\u00e9 situace. Fronty jsou ur\u010ditou zvl\u00e1\u0161tnost\u00ed atmosf\u00e9ry a zat\u00edm mi nen\u00ed zn\u00e1mo, \u017ee by byly vhodn\u00fdm zp\u016fsobem zahrnuty do objektivn\u00edho p\u0159edpov\u011bdn\u00edho procesu. Dosavadn\u00ed zmen\u0161ov\u00e1n\u00ed kroku s\u00edt\u011b na n\u011bkolik m\u00e1lo des\u00edtek kilometr\u016f p\u0159i \u0159e\u0161en\u00ed prognostick\u00fdch soustav je toti\u017e sp\u00ed\u0161e matematickou form\u00e1ln\u00ed ot\u00e1zkou ne\u017e fyzik\u00e1ln\u00edm vyj\u00e1d\u0159en\u00edm reality front. Ostatn\u011b dosavadn\u00ed pozorov\u00e1n\u00ed obla\u010dnosti z dru\u017eic dokazuj\u00ed, \u017ee v p\u0159ev\u00e1\u017en\u00e9 v\u011bt\u0161in\u011b p\u0159\u00edpad\u016f jsou modelov\u00e1 sch\u00e9mata norsk\u00e9 \u0161koly spr\u00e1vn\u00e1. Bude z\u00e1le\u017eet na progn\u00f3zn\u00edm \u00fa\u0159edn\u00edkovi, jak bude schopen vyu\u017e\u00edt v\u0161ech \u00fadaj\u016f a znalost\u00ed k zp\u0159esn\u011bn\u00ed p\u0159edpov\u011bdi po\u010das\u00ed. I kdyby v budoucnosti pojem fronty zmizel z p\u0159edpov\u011bdi po\u010das\u00ed, mysl\u00edm, \u017ee trvale z\u016fstane ve znalostech meteorologick\u00fdch odborn\u00edk\u016f. Jinou ot\u00e1zkou je, zda se v sou\u010dasn\u00e9 dob\u011b pojem fronty zbyte\u010dn\u011b nezneu\u017e\u00edv\u00e1.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\"><em>8. Jste spokojen s v\u00fdsledky katedry, kterou \u0159\u00edd\u00edte? Mysl\u00edte si, \u017ee je uspokojiv\u011b zaji\u0161t\u011bna kontinuita v\u00fduky v nejbli\u017e\u0161\u00edch letech s ohledem na v\u011bkovou skladbu u\u010ditel\u016f?<\/em><\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Spokojenost s v\u00fdsledky n\u011bjak\u00e9ho pracovi\u0161t\u011b je v\u017edy ne\u00adbezpe\u010dn\u00e1, a to a\u0165 se jedn\u00e1 o v\u011bdeck\u00e1, \u0161kolsk\u00e1 nebo jin\u00e1 pracovi\u0161t\u011b. Sebeuspokojen\u00ed nem\u016f\u017ee v\u00e9st k rozumn\u00e9mu po\u00adkroku, pouze k stagnaci nebo \u00fapadku. K druh\u00e9 \u010d\u00e1sti ot\u00e1zky podot\u00fdk\u00e1m pouze to, \u017ee jist\u00e1 kontinuita bude pravd\u011bpodobn\u011b zaji\u0161t\u011bna. Sv\u011bd\u010d\u00ed o tom toti\u017e n\u011bkter\u00e9 shrnuj\u00edc\u00ed publikace, jejich\u017e autory jsou mlad\u0161\u00ed pracovn\u00edci katedry. Skladbu u\u010di\u00adtel\u016f bohu\u017eel nebylo mo\u017en\u00e9 a ani nen\u00ed mo\u017en\u00e9 podstatn\u011bji ovlivnit.
