Rudolf Kolom\u00fd, CSc., ji\u017e nedo\u010dkal. Po mnohalet\u00e9m z\u00e1pase s rakovinou zem\u0159el 8. \u00fanora 2014 ve v\u011bku 81 rok\u016f. A\u010dkoliv nebyl meteorolog, \u010dasto p\u0159isp\u00edval do tohoto \u010dasopisu, kter\u00fd obohacoval \u010dl\u00e1nky z d\u011bjin fyziky s tematick\u00fdm p\u0159esahem do meteorologie.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Narodil se 18. \u010dervna 1932 v Lukavci u Letohradu v rodin\u011b zem\u011bd\u011blc\u016f. Po maturit\u011b na re\u00e1ln\u00e9m gymn\u00e1ziu v \u00dast\u00ed nad orlic\u00ed v roce 1951 studoval matematiku a fyziku na P\u0159\u00edrodov\u011bdeck\u00e9 fakult\u011b, o rok pozd\u011bji na nov\u011b z\u0159\u00edzen\u00e9 Matematicko-fyzik\u00e1ln\u00ed fakult\u011b Univerzity Karlovy v Praze. Jeho spolu\u017e\u00e1ky byli mimo jin\u00e9 pozd\u011bji zn\u00e1m\u00ed meteorologov\u00e9 RNDr. Bed\u0159ich B\u00f6hm, CSc., a RNDr. Bo\u0159ivoj Sob\u00ed\u0161ek, DrSc.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-e93c11f elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"e93c11f\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-settings=\"{&quot;_ha_eqh_enable&quot;:false}\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-6b169ea\" data-id=\"6b169ea\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-768db9e elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"768db9e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"rtejustify\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Na rozd\u00edl od obou si v\u0161ak za studijn\u00ed obor zvolil u\u010ditelstv\u00ed matematiky a fyziky pro st\u0159edn\u00ed \u0161koly a jemu z\u016fstal v\u011brn\u00fd i po dosa\u017een\u00ed d\u016fchodov\u00e9ho v\u011bku. Po ukon\u010den\u00ed vysoko\u0161kolsk\u00e9ho studia v roce 1955 dostal um\u00edst\u011bnku do St\u0159edn\u00ed zem\u011bd\u011blsk\u00e9 technick\u00e9 \u0161koly v Moravsk\u00e9 T\u0159ebov\u00e9, na n\u00ed\u017e pak nep\u0159etr\u017eit\u011b p\u016fsobil, i kdy\u017e ob\u010das vyu\u010doval i na jin\u00fdch st\u0159edn\u00edch \u0161kol\u00e1ch. V uveden\u00e9m m\u011bst\u011b zakotvil natrvalo, a\u017e do konce sv\u00e9ho \u017eivota.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Ji\u017e na st\u0159edn\u00ed \u0161kole se krom\u011b matematiky a fyziky zaj\u00edmal o obecnou historii, zejm\u00e9na o historii p\u0159\u00edrodn\u00edch v\u011bd a techniky, a nepovinn\u00e9 p\u0159edn\u00e1\u0161ky toho zam\u011b\u0159en\u00ed nav\u0161t\u011bvoval t\u00e9\u017e na vysok\u00e9 \u0161kole. V polovin\u011b 60. let 20. stolet\u00ed nav\u00e1zal spolupr\u00e1ci s odd\u011blen\u00edm d\u011bjin p\u0159\u00edrodn\u00edch v\u011bd a techniky Historick\u00e9ho \u00fastavu \u010cSAV v Praze, kde vypracoval kandid\u00e1tskou dizerta\u010dn\u00ed pr\u00e1ci nazvanou Studium termoelektrick\u00fdch jev\u016f od Seebeckova objevu 1821 do r. 1890. Z politick\u00fdch d\u016fvod\u016f ji v\u0161ak mohl obh\u00e1jit a\u017e v roce 1991, a to v \u00dastav u teorie a historie v\u011bdy \u010cSAV v Praze.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Rudolf Kolom\u00fd v\u011bdeck\u00fdm z\u00e1jmem p\u0159ipom\u00ednal prvorepublikov\u00e9 nebo je\u0161t\u011b d\u0159\u00edv\u011bj\u0161\u00ed gymnazijn\u00ed profesory, kte\u0159\u00ed se neomezovali na reprodukov\u00e1n\u00ed u\u010diva sv\u00fdm \u017e\u00e1k\u016fm, ale v\u011bnoval se tak\u00e9 badatelsk\u00e9 \u010dinnosti a v\u00fdsledky v\u00fdzkumu publikovali nejen ve v\u00fdro\u010dn\u00edch zpr\u00e1v\u00e1ch st\u0159edn\u00edch \u0161kol. P\u0159itom z\u016fst\u00e1vali v\u00fdte\u010dn\u00fdmi a podn\u011btn\u00fdmi kantory.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Pokud si magistr Kolom\u00fd nevedl soupis sv\u00fdch publikovan\u00fdch prac\u00ed, pochybuji o tom, \u017de se n\u011bkomu jin\u00e9mu poda\u0159\u00ed v \u00faplnosti jej sestavit. Jeho \u010dl\u00e1nky a recenze vych\u00e1zely v \u010ceskoslovensk\u00e9m \u010dasopise fyzik\u00e1ln\u00edm, v D\u011bjin\u00e1ch v\u011bd a techniky. \u010ceskoslovensk\u00e9m \u010dasopise pro fyziku, Meteorologick\u00fdch zpr\u00e1v\u00e1ch, Matematice a fyzice ve \u0161kole, Pokroc\u00edch matematiky, fyziky a astronomie, Rozhledech matematicko-fyzik\u00e1ln\u00edch, sborn\u00edc\u00edch z Letnej \u0161koly z dej\u00edn fyziky, v\u00a0\u00fa\u010delov\u00fdch publikac\u00edch z pedagogick\u00fdch \u010dten\u00ed a konferenc\u00ed o v\u00fduce fyziky na st\u0159edn\u00edch \u0161kol\u00e1ch, v \u010dasopise Vesm\u00edr i v denn\u00edm a periodick\u00e9m tisku. Za zvl\u00e1\u0161tn\u00ed pozornost v\u0161ak stoj\u00ed jeho obsa\u017en\u00e9 a rozs\u00e1hl\u00e9 studie uve\u0159ej\u0148ovan\u00e9 ve Zborn\u00edkoch dej\u00edn fyziky, kter\u00e9 vyd\u00e1valy \u010di vyd\u00e1vaj\u00ed Vysok\u00e1 vojensk\u00e1 technick\u00e1 \u0161kola v Liptovsk\u00e9m Mikul\u00e1\u0161i, Jednota slovensk\u00fdch matematikov a fyzikov a Slovensk\u00e1 spolo\u010dnos\u0165 pre dejiny vied a techniky pri SAV. \u0160lo o refer\u00e1ty p\u0159ednesen\u00e9 na celost\u00e1tn\u00edch semin\u00e1\u0159\u00edch (CESDEF), po rozd\u011blen\u00ed \u010ceskoslovenska mezin\u00e1rodn\u00edch semin\u00e1\u0159\u00edch d\u011bjin fyziky (MESDEF), kter\u00e9 se t\u00e9m\u011b\u0159 ka\u017edoro\u010dn\u011b konaj\u00ed st\u0159\u00eddav\u011b v \u010cesku a na Slovensku.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">P\u0159ednostn\u00edmi historick\u00fdmi z\u00e1jmy R. Kolom\u00e9ho bylo studium elektrick\u00fdch, termoelektrick\u00fdch a magnetick\u00fdch jev\u016f ve sv\u011bt\u011b v 17. a\u017e 19. stolet\u00ed, v\u00fdzkum p\u0159irozen\u00e9 radioaktivity ve vztahu k J\u00e1chymovu, objevn\u00e9 jsou jeho pr\u00e1ce o \u0161\u00ed\u0159en\u00ed Newtonov\u00fdch my\u0161lenek a ohlasu R\u00f6ntgenova objevu v \u010desk\u00fdch zem\u00edch i o nejednozna\u010dn\u00e9m p\u0159ij\u00edm\u00e1n\u00ed teorie relativity v \u010ceskoslovensku. Znal \u017divotopisy a v\u011bdeck\u00fd p\u0159\u00ednos stovek fyzik\u016f a jin\u00fdch p\u0159\u00edrodov\u011bdc\u016f.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Liter\u00e1rn\u00ed d\u00edlo R. Kolom\u00e9ho je dokonal\u00e9 po str\u00e1nce odborn\u00e9 i form\u00e1ln\u00ed. \u010cten\u00e1\u0159i Meteorologick\u00fdch zpr\u00e1v se o tom mohli p\u0159esv\u011bd\u010dit nap\u0159. v p\u0159\u00edsp\u011bvc\u00edch o W. Gilbertovi a jeho spise o magnetismu, o v\u00fdzkumech atmosf\u00e9rick\u00e9 elekt\u0159iny (P. Divi\u0161, J. Stepling, K. V. Zenger, B. Franklin, G. W. Richmann), o Einsteinov\u011b p\u016fsoben\u00ed v Praze nebo o F. B\u011bhounkovi jako radiologovi a pol\u00e1rn\u00edkovi. \u0160koda, \u017ee Kolom\u00fd nevyu\u010doval na vysok\u00e9 \u0161kole za\u010d\u00ednaj\u00edc\u00ed autory, aby v\u011bd\u011bli, jak pracovat s prameny, hodnotit fakta, formulovat my\u0161lenky, nepl\u00fdtvat slovy, ps\u00e1t hutn\u011b, srozumiteln\u011b, spisovn\u011b a zaj\u00edmav\u011b, aby \u010dten\u00ed odborn\u00e9ho textu nebylo utrpen\u00edm, ale pot\u011b\u0161en\u00edm.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Ode\u0161el uzn\u00e1van\u00fd \u010desk\u00fd historik fyziky, dobr\u00fd u\u010ditel a slu\u0161n\u00fd, skromn\u00fd \u010dlov\u011bk. \u010cest jeho pam\u00e1tce!<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\"><em>Obr.
