Jest jedn\u00edm \u2014 m\u00edn\u011bno slu\u017eebn\u011b \u2014 z nejstar\u0161\u00edch zam\u011bstnanc\u016f \u00fastavu, kde p\u016fsob\u00ed od r. 1920. Jan Hrd\u00fd ji\u017e jako student m\u011bl z\u00e1libu v astronomii vlivem sv\u00e9ho profesora matematiky Doc. Dr Kav\u00e1na, v\u00fdzna\u010dn\u00e9ho astronoma. Tato z\u00e1liba p\u0159ivedla jej pozd\u011bji k meteorologick\u00e9 slu\u017eb\u011b. Z existenc\u00ad\u00edch d\u016fvod\u016f nemohl absolvovati studia, jak zam\u00fd\u0161lel. P\u0159e\u0161el proto do pr\u016fmyslu, kde pracoval jako korespondent ciz\u00edch jazyk\u016f, \u00fa\u010detn\u00ed a bilancista a\u017e do vypuknut\u00ed sv\u011btov\u00e9 v\u00e1lky v r. 1914, kdy byl mobilisov\u00e1n.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-e93c11f elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"e93c11f\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-settings=\"{&quot;_ha_eqh_enable&quot;:false}\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-6b169ea\" data-id=\"6b169ea\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-768db9e elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"768db9e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"rtejustify\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Ve vojensk\u00e9 v\u00e1le\u010dn\u011b slu\u017eb\u011b byl a\u017e do konce roku 1918 a potom slou\u017eil v \u010deskoslovensk\u00e9 arm\u00e1d\u011b do demobilisace v r. 1920. V roce 1916 byl p\u0159id\u011blen k arm\u00e1dn\u00ed pozorovatelsk\u00e9 slu\u017eb\u011b na ji\u017en\u00ed front\u011b (Korutansk\u00e9 Alpy, Kra\u0148sko, pob\u0159e\u017e\u00ed Adriatick\u00e9ho mo\u0159e, It\u00e1lie, Srbsko), de se p\u0159ihl\u00e1sil k poln\u00ed pov\u011btrnostn\u00ed slu\u017eb\u011b a setrval u n\u00ed a\u017e o konce v\u00e1lky. V \u010cSR pracoval v \u00fast\u0159ed\u00ed pov\u011btrnostn\u00ed vojensk\u00e9 slu\u017eby v pra\u017esk\u00e9m Klementinu do \u00fanora 1920. Tehdy jej poznal Doc. Dr R. Schneider, kter\u00fd organisoval \u010deskoslovenskou civiln\u00ed meteorologickou slu\u017ebu. Vyzval jej, by vstoupil do slu\u017eeb nov\u011b tvo\u0159en\u00e9ho St\u00e1tn\u00edho meteorologick\u00e9ho \u00fastavu jako technick\u00fd pracovn\u00edk (po\u010dt\u00e1\u0159-statistik). Jan Hrd\u00fd to uv\u00edtal s radost\u00ed, \u017ee bude moci sv\u00e9 s\u00edly a pracovn\u00ed hu\u0165 v\u011bnovati meteorologii, ke kter\u00e9 od v\u00e1lky p\u0159ilnul a stal s tak nev\u011brn\u00fdm sv\u00e9 d\u0159\u00edv\u011bj\u0161\u00ed l\u00e1sce \u2014 astronomii. Uv\u00e1d\u00edme ve\u0161ker\u00e9 z v\u011bt\u0161\u00edch klimatick\u00fdch prac\u00ed a studi\u00ed, kter\u00e9 provedl: 50let\u00fd a 80let\u00fd denn\u00ed pr\u016fm\u011br teploty, 145let\u00fd m\u011bs\u00ed\u010dn\u00ed pr\u016fm\u011br teploty, zpracov\u00e1n\u00ed maxim\u00e1ln\u00edch a minim\u00e1ln\u00edch teplot a statistiku sr\u00e1\u017eek za obdob\u00ed 100 let vesm\u011bs z Prahy-Klementina. Zpracoval tak\u00e9 n\u011bkter\u00e9 prvky pro p\u0159edpov\u011bdn\u00ed tabulky (tlak vzduchu, teplota a vlhkost vzduchu, sm\u011br a s\u00edlu v\u011btru a sr\u00e1\u017eky) a kone\u010dn\u011b v Atlasu \u010cSR bylo uve\u0159ejn\u011bno jeho zpracov\u00e1n\u00ed v\u011btrn\u00fdch pom\u011br\u016f v \u010cSR. Vedle toho samostatn\u011b p\u0159ipravil do tisku a obstaral vyd\u00e1n\u00ed n\u011bkolika klimatick\u00fdch ro\u010denek a I. autorisovan\u00e9 \u010desk\u00e9 vyd\u00e1n\u00ed Psychrometrick\u00fdch tabulek r. 1922. V roce 1936 se ujal vyd\u00e1v\u00e1n\u00ed prv\u00fdch \u010dsl. pov\u011btrnostn\u00edch map.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">V po\u010d\u00e1te\u010dn\u00edm v\u00fdvojov\u00e9m stadiu konal tak\u00e9 konceptn\u00ed pr\u00e1ce pro stani\u010dn\u00ed a hospod\u00e1\u0159skou slu\u017ebu a vedl rozpo\u010dtovou, \u010detn\u00ed a hospod\u00e1\u0159skou agendu. Od r. 1922 a pozd\u011bji, kdy\u017e p\u0159ibyla leteck\u00e1 pov\u011btrnostn\u00ed slu\u017eba a slu\u017eba odborn\u00fdch odd\u011blen\u00ed, p\u0159i \u010dem\u017e se stani\u010dn\u00ed s\u00ed\u0165 roz\u0161i\u0159ovala a samostatn\u011b organizovala, byl pov\u011b\u0159en veden\u00edm hospod\u00e1\u0159sk\u00fdch slu\u017eeb p\u0159i \u0159editelstv\u00ed \u00fastavu a d\u00e1le, vzhledem k sv\u00e9mu p\u016fvodn\u00edmu povol\u00e1n\u00ed organisac\u00ed rozpo\u010dtov\u00e9 a \u00fa\u010detn\u00ed agendy \u00fastavu. Jan Hrd\u00fd se nerad lou\u010dil s odbornou slu\u017ebou. Av\u0161ak pot\u0159eby \u00fastavu byly mocn\u011bj\u0161\u00ed, ne\u017e jeho osobn\u00ed ambice. Ujal se nov\u00e9ho \u00fakolu \u2014 organisace rozpo\u010dtov\u00e9, \u00fa\u010detn\u00ed a hospod\u00e1\u0159sk\u00e9 slu\u017eby \u00fastavu jejich veden\u00ed \u2014 s velkou hou\u017eevnatost\u00ed a v\u00e1\u017enost\u00ed a pracoval o cel\u00fdch skoro 30 let na tomto pracovn\u00edm \u00faseku. Vzpom\u00edn\u00e1 v\u017edy i vd\u011b\u010dn\u011b sv\u00fdch spolupracovn\u00edk\u016f, jich\u017e je za tu dobu slu\u0161n\u00e1 \u0159ada. V roce 1946 a\u017e 1951 byl pov\u011b\u0159en tvorbou struktury a finan\u010dn\u00ed n\u00e1pln\u011b 2LP a prov\u00e1d\u011bc\u00edch pl\u00e1n\u016f 5LP. P\u0159i reorganisaci \u00fastavu v r. 1950 byl ustanoven rozpo\u010dtov\u00fdm referentem \u00fastavu.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Jan Hrd\u00fd po celou dobu od r. 1923 st\u00e1le prohluboval, roz\u0161i\u0159oval a zdokonaloval strukturu rozpo\u010dtu, aby vyhovovala byla k prosp\u011bchu \u00fastavu. Svoje v\u011bdomosti roz\u0161i\u0159uje dodnes studiem n\u00e1rodohospod\u00e1\u0159sk\u00fdch d\u011bl a uplat\u0148uje je v praxi v duchu lidov\u011b-demokratick\u00e9m. Jan Hrd\u00fd ve v\u0161ech sv\u00fdch prac\u00edch a z\u00e1lib\u00e1ch hledal \u017eivot a \u010dlov\u011bka. Na\u0161el ho v \u010d\u00edslech, spisech i v hmotn\u00e9m z\u00e1sobov\u00e1n\u00ed. To je jeho pracovn\u00ed \u0161t\u011bst\u00ed, p\u0159i sv\u00e9 velik\u00e9 zam\u011bstnanosti najde v\u017edy chvilku, aby se oddal sv\u00fdm u\u0161lechtil\u00fdm z\u00e1lib\u00e1m: hudb\u011b, lyrice, les\u016fm, um\u011bn\u00ed historick\u00e9mu i modern\u00edmu. \u017dije kr\u00e1sn\u00fdm rodinn\u00fdm \u017eivotem a jeho ob\u011btav\u00e1 man\u017eelka p\u0159isp\u011bla svou cennou h\u0159ivnou k jeho \u017eivotn\u00edm \u00fasp\u011bch\u016fm.
