E. Purkyn\u011b, nyn\u00ed Masarykovy univerzity v\u00a0Brn\u011b.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Celo\u017eivotn\u00ed odborn\u00e9 p\u016fsoben\u00ed L. Zde sehr\u00e1l kl\u00ed\u010dovou roli p\u0159i p\u0159echodu od klasick\u00fdch metod zpracov\u00e1n\u00ed dat a klimatologick\u00fdch anal\u00fdz k vytv\u00e1\u0159en\u00ed, rozvoji a vyu\u017e\u00edv\u00e1n\u00ed klimatick\u00e9 datab\u00e1ze \u010cHM\u00da pomoc\u00ed modern\u00edch po\u010d\u00edta\u010dov\u00fdch a informa\u010dn\u00edch technologi\u00ed. Tato \u010dinnost, kter\u00e9 se pln\u011b v\u011bnoval p\u0159edev\u0161\u00edm v\u00a0posledn\u00edch letech jako vedouc\u00ed odboru klimatologie, vy\u00fastila mimo jin\u00e9 i v implementaci modern\u00edho a komplexn\u00edho datab\u00e1zov\u00e9ho syst\u00e9mu CLIDATA. \u00dasp\u011b\u0161n\u00e9 zavr\u0161en\u00ed jeho profesion\u00e1ln\u00ed kari\u00e9ry by nebylo mo\u017en\u00e9 bez pr\u016fb\u011b\u017en\u011b roz\u0161i\u0159ovan\u00fdch odborn\u00fdch znalost\u00ed, vytrvalosti p\u0159i hled\u00e1n\u00ed technick\u00fdch a finan\u010dn\u00edch zdroj\u016f a p\u0159edev\u0161\u00edm bez jeho schopnosti z\u00edskat a motivovat novou generaci odborn\u00edk\u016f, kte\u0159\u00ed dnes v jeho pr\u00e1ci pokra\u010duj\u00ed. Odborn\u00e9 znalosti a v\u00fdsledky sv\u00e9 pr\u00e1ce r\u00e1d p\u0159ed\u00e1val i ostatn\u00edm. Publikoval n\u011bkolik des\u00edtek studi\u00ed, \u010dl\u00e1nk\u016f a monografi\u00ed a prezentoval \u010detn\u00e9 p\u0159edn\u00e1\u0161ky. V posledn\u00edm desetilet\u00ed se v\u00fdznamn\u00fdm zp\u016fsobem zapojil do programu Sv\u011btov\u00e9 meteorologick\u00e9 organizace v oblasti zahrani\u010dn\u00ed pomoci rozvojov\u00fdm zem\u00edm p\u0159i budov\u00e1n\u00ed n\u00e1rodn\u00edch klimatologick\u00fdch datab\u00e1z\u00ed s vyu\u017eit\u00edm ji\u017e zm\u00edn\u011bn\u00e9 datab\u00e1zov\u00e9 aplikace CLIDATA. Osobn\u011b se \u00fa\u010dastnil instalac\u00ed p\u0159\u00edslu\u0161n\u00fdch technologi\u00ed a \u0161kolen\u00ed odborn\u00edk\u016f v \u0159ad\u011b zahrani\u010dn\u00edch meteorologick\u00fdch slu\u017eeb, kde vyu\u017e\u00edval sv\u00e9 vz\u00e1cn\u00e9 pedagogick\u00e9 a jazykov\u00e9 schopnosti. Dok\u00e1zal sv\u00e9 \u0161kol\u00edc\u00ed p\u0159edn\u00e1\u0161ky a cvi\u010den\u00ed v anglick\u00e9m jazyce doprovodit vysv\u011btlen\u00edm v\u00a0rusk\u00e9m jazyce podle pot\u0159eb poslucha\u010d\u016f.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Typick\u00fdmi vlastnostmi Lubo\u0161e Coufala byly p\u0159edev\u0161\u00edm jeho proz\u00edravost p\u0159i posouzen\u00ed pot\u0159eby uplatn\u011bn\u00ed v\u00fdpo\u010detn\u00ed a telekomunika\u010dn\u00ed techniky p\u0159i rozvoji aplikovan\u00e9 meteorologie a hou\u017eevnatost, se kterou \u0161el za realizac\u00ed vyty\u010den\u00fdch c\u00edl\u016f. Jako \u0159\u00edd\u00edc\u00ed pracovn\u00edk p\u0159istupoval k \u0159e\u0161en\u00ed odborn\u00fdch i person\u00e1ln\u00edch probl\u00e9m\u016f v\u017edy s nadhledem a se schopnost\u00ed odli\u0161en\u00ed v\u011bc\u00ed podstatn\u00fdch od podru\u017en\u00fdch. Odbornou invenci, kter\u00e1 pro n\u011bho byla charakteristick\u00e1 a\u017e do posledn\u00edch dn\u016f jeho \u017eivota, neoslabila ani bolestn\u00e1 ztr\u00e1ta syna. V\u00a0RNDr. Coufalovi ode\u0161el nejen drah\u00fd \u010dlen rodiny, ale i dlouholet\u00fd kolega, p\u0159\u00edtel, v\u00e1\u017een\u00fd odborn\u00edk a v\u00fdrazn\u00e1 postava \u010desk\u00e9 Univerzity J. E. Purkyn\u011b, nyn\u00ed Masarykovy univerzity v\u00a0Brn\u011b, v\u00a0\u010cesk\u00e9m hydrometeorologick\u00e9m \u00fastavu pracoval (v r\u016fzn\u00fdch \u0159\u00edd\u00edc\u00edch funkc\u00edch) nep\u0159etr\u017eit\u011b 43 let, a\u017e do odchodu do d\u016fchodu v\u00a0roce 2003. Saroyan<\/em><\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Dne 11. 11. 1937 se v moravsk\u00e9 metropoli Brn\u011b narodil n\u00e1\u0161 kolega &#8211; klimatolog Lubom\u00edr Coufal, jeho\u017e cel\u00fd pracovn\u00ed \u017eivot je spjat s \u010cesk\u00fdm hydrometeorologick\u00fdm \u00fastavem.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">S jistou liter\u00e1rn\u00ed licenc\u00ed m\u016f\u017eeme uv\u00e9st, \u017ee prvn\u00ed narozeninov\u00e9 \u010dty\u0159\u010d\u00edsl\u00ed patrn\u011b p\u0159edznamenalo v\u00fdborn\u00e9 studijn\u00ed v\u00fdsledky od z\u00e1kladn\u00ed \u0161koly a\u017e po P\u0159\u00edrodov\u011bdeckou fakultu Univerzity J. E. Purkyn\u011b (dnes Masarykovy univerzity) v Brn\u011b, kde vystudoval fyzickou geografii.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">A jako druhou v\u00fdjime\u010dnost mus\u00edme zd\u016fraznit, \u017ee od sv\u00e9ho absolutoria v roce 1960 pracuje po cel\u00fdch 38 let nep\u0159etr\u017eit\u011b v \u010cesk\u00e9m hydrometeorologick\u00e9m \u00fastavu.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Jako \u00fasp\u011b\u0161n\u00fd klimatolog zast\u00e1val ji\u017e v roce 1966 funkci vedouc\u00edho odd\u011blen\u00ed. Odborn\u00e9 p\u0159edpoklady i p\u0159esn\u00fd odhad dal\u0161\u00edho v\u00fdvoje jej dovedly k dal\u0161\u00ed v\u00fdznamn\u00e9 etap\u011b &#8211; spolu\u00fa\u010dasti na zav\u00e1d\u011bn\u00ed v\u00fdpo\u010detn\u00ed techniky v \u00fastavu. Vedle odborn\u00fdch p\u0159edpoklad\u016f jej i tyto aktivity p\u0159edur\u010dily do funkce provozn\u011b-technick\u00e9ho n\u00e1m\u011bstka \u0159editele \u00fastavu, kterou zast\u00e1val od roku 1979 do roku 1990.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Jen ten, kdo je schopen objektivn\u011b zhodnotit slo\u017eitost tehdej\u0161\u00edch pom\u011br\u016f, ocen\u00ed \u00fasil\u00ed, n\u00e1paditost, hou\u017eevnatost a ob\u011btavost, kterou musel vyvinout, aby tak mnohostrann\u00e1 organizace, jakou je \u010cHM\u00da, technicky nezaost\u00e1vala. Jeho vizitkou z\u016fst\u00e1v\u00e1 nezanedbateln\u00fd pod\u00edl na postaven\u00ed centr\u00e1ln\u00ed budovy \u00fastavu v Praze-Komo\u0159anech, dokon\u010den\u00ed v\u00fdpo\u010detn\u00edho a spojovac\u00edho centra a realizace dal\u0161\u00edch \u010detn\u00fdch investi\u010dn\u00edch akc\u00ed.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Po reorganizaci \u00fastavu se RNDr. L. Coufal vr\u00e1til ke sv\u00e9 p\u016fvodn\u00ed profesi &#8211; stal se vedouc\u00edm odboru klimatologie. V nelehk\u00e9 situaci, kdy na pracovi\u0161ti chyb\u00ed z d\u016fvodu n\u00edzk\u00fdch mezd trvale n\u011bkolik pracovn\u00edk\u016f, se mu poda\u0159ilo \u010dinnost zkonsolidovat do t\u00e9 m\u00edry, \u017ee jsou pln\u011bny v\u0161echny z\u00e1kladn\u00ed \u010dinnosti. Jde zejm\u00e9na o digitalizaci, kontrolu a archivaci z\u00edskan\u00fdch dat pomoc\u00ed modulu CLICOM, dokon\u010den\u00ed prov\u011brky \u00faplnosti digitalizovan\u00fdch dat za obdob\u00ed 1961 a\u017e 1990. K publikaci jsou p\u0159ipravov\u00e1ny norm\u00e1ly tlaku vzduchu, teploty vzduchu, slune\u010dn\u00edho svitu, \u00fahrnu sr\u00e1\u017eek a vlhkostn\u00edch charakteristik za obdob\u00ed 1961-1990.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">V\u00fdznamn\u00e1 je i publika\u010dn\u00ed \u010dinnost L. Coufala &#8211; publikoval des\u00edtky \u010dl\u00e1nk\u016f, studi\u00ed, posudk\u016f i monografi\u00ed p\u0159edstavuj\u00edc\u00edch v\u00fdrazn\u00fd p\u0159\u00ednos v historii na\u0161\u00ed klimatologie.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Vyzna\u010duje-li se n\u011bkdo mimo\u0159\u00e1dnou pracovitost\u00ed, hou\u017eevnatost\u00ed a systemati\u010dnost\u00ed jako n\u00e1\u0161 dlouholet\u00fd kolega, RNDr. Lubom\u00edr Coufal, pak to nem\u00e1 v \u017eivot\u011b lehk\u00e9. Tyto vlastnosti toti\u017e zpravidla p\u0159edur\u010duj\u00ed nositele k \u00fad\u011blu vymykaj\u00edc\u00edch se zarputilc\u016f a osobn\u00edch rv\u00e1\u010d\u016f ji\u017e proto, \u017ee v\u011bt\u0161\u00ed \u010d\u00e1st populace obdobn\u00fdmi vlastnostmi neopl\u00fdv\u00e1. Ale zarputilci obvykle zanech\u00e1vaj\u00ed znatelnou stopu a vyty\u010duj\u00ed sm\u011br.
