Narodily se za Rakousko-Uherska, pro\u017eily ob\u011b sv\u011btov\u00e9 v\u00e1lky a mezi nimi vznik a vzep\u011bt\u00ed \u010ceskoslovenska a s\u00a0n\u00edm spojen\u00fd rozmach meteorologick\u00e9 v\u011bdy a slu\u017eby, a \u00fasp\u011b\u0161n\u011b p\u016fsobily tak\u00e9 v pov\u00e1le\u010dn\u00e9 dob\u011b, kdy se sv\u011bt op\u011bt pov\u00e1\u017eliv\u011b rozd\u011blil. Za velk\u00e9 podpory, kter\u00e9 se jim dostalo v \u010dase svobodn\u00e9ho pohybu, vyu\u017eily sv\u00e9ho nad\u00e1n\u00ed, p\u00edle a jazykov\u00e9ho vybaven\u00ed ke studiu v cizin\u011b, a to p\u0159\u00edmo v m\u00edstech tv\u016fr\u010d\u00edho kvasu, pokroku a v\u011bdeck\u00fdch objev\u016f. Byly skv\u011ble p\u0159ipraveny na vlastn\u00ed v\u011bdeckou dr\u00e1hu a m\u011bly \u0161irok\u00e9 zahrani\u010dn\u00ed kontakty.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">P\u0159es \u010dasov\u00fd soub\u011bh \u017eivot\u016f obou meteorolog\u016f byly jejich osudy zna\u010dn\u011b odli\u0161n\u00e9. Hanzl\u00edk po letech studi\u00ed se do konce sv\u00e9ho \u017eivota v\u011bnoval pedagogick\u00e9 pr\u00e1ci na univerzit\u011b, kde\u017eto Swoboda se od ukon\u010den\u00ed vysok\u00e9 \u0161koly vytrvale zab\u00fdval organizac\u00ed pov\u011btrnostn\u00ed slu\u017eby, a to nejprve v n\u00e1rodn\u00edm a pozd\u011bji ve sv\u011btov\u00e9m m\u011b\u0159\u00edtku. V\u011bdeck\u00fd rozlet Hanzl\u00edk\u016fv byl prud\u0161\u00ed ne\u017e Swobod\u016fv, nastal ji\u017e v dob\u011b monarchie, proto\u017ee Hanzl\u00edk byl o 15 rok\u016f star\u0161\u00ed ne\u017e Swoboda.. Sv\u00e9 nejzda\u0159ilej\u0161\u00ed spisy napsal v mlad\u00ed, kde\u017eto Swobodovy ambice se v pln\u00e9 m\u00ed\u0159e naplnily a\u017e v jeho pokro\u010dilej\u0161\u00edm v\u011bku.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Shodou v\u00edce okolnost\u00ed jsou \u017eivot a d\u00edlo Hanzl\u00edka a Swobody v na\u0161\u00ed literatu\u0159e pops\u00e1ny v dosti rozd\u00edln\u00e9m rozsahu.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Samostatn\u00e9 zhodnocen\u00ed Hanzl\u00edkova d\u00edla nalezneme v\u00a0\u010dl\u00e1nc\u00edch jeho spolupracovn\u00edk\u016f A. Gregora, nap\u0159. [1, 2, 5], R. Schneidera [25], B. \u0160alamona [24] a jeho \u017e\u00e1ka O. Zikmundy [27]. Jeho kolegov\u00e9, p\u0159\u00edpadn\u011b \u017e\u00e1ci R. Schneider [21], M. Kon\u010dek [12] a E. Vesel\u00fd [25] zaznamenali i zaj\u00edmavosti, t\u00fdkaj\u00edc\u00ed se osobn\u00edch vlastnost\u00ed profesora. Nav\u00edc jeho pam\u011btn\u00edci je\u0161t\u011b \u017eij\u00ed mezi n\u00e1mi. Velkolep\u00e9 po\u010d\u00e1tky Hanzl\u00edkovy v\u011bdeck\u00e9 kari\u00e9ry zn\u00e1me z\u00a0\u010detn\u00fdch dopis\u016f, kter\u00e9 pos\u00edlal sv\u00e9mu u\u010diteli a podporovateli profesoru F. Augustinovi zvl\u00e1\u0161t\u011b za sv\u00e9ho pobytu ve Spojen\u00fdch st\u00e1tech. K Hanzl\u00edkov\u00fdm \u0161edes\u00e1t\u00fdm narozenin\u00e1m vydala sborn\u00edk prac\u00ed \u010ceskoslovensk\u00e1 fyziatrick\u00e1 spole\u010dnost [26] s\u00a0p\u0159\u00edsp\u011bvky na\u0161ich i zahrani\u010dn\u00edch autor\u016f, nap\u0159. R. Schneidera, F. B\u011bhounka, A. Be\u010dv\u00e1\u0159e, C. G. Abotta, W. Gorczy\u0144sk\u00e9ho; v\u00a0zahrani\u010dn\u00edch \u010dasopisech vy\u0161ly ke stejn\u00e9 p\u0159\u00edle\u017eitosti \u010dl\u00e1nky V. Conrada, F. Linka, M. Milankovi\u010de a dal\u0161\u00edch. K jeho sedmdes\u00e1t\u00fdm narozenin\u00e1m vy\u0161el k jeho poct\u011b p\u00e9\u010d\u00ed St\u00e1tn\u00edho meteorologick\u00e9ho \u00fastavu v Praze dal\u0161\u00ed sborn\u00edk p\u0159\u00edsp\u011bvk\u016f [1].<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">\u010cesk\u00e1 literatura o dr. Swobodovi je nepr\u00e1vem chud\u0161\u00ed. Domn\u00edv\u00e1me se, \u017ee hlavn\u00ed p\u0159\u00ed\u010dinou t\u00e9to skute\u010dnosti je Swobod\u016fv dlouh\u00fd pobyt v cizin\u011b a politick\u00e9 pom\u011bry, kter\u00e9 nastaly v Evrop\u011b po 2. sv\u011btov\u00e9 v\u00e1lce. Jeho \u017eivotn\u00ed d\u00edlo v\u00fdsti\u017en\u011b vyl\u00ed\u010dil jen A. Gregor v nekrologu [6] a cenn\u00fdmi zji\u0161t\u011bn\u00edmi dokreslil J. Munzar v refer\u00e1tu [19], roz\u0161\u00ed\u0159en\u00e9m o p\u0159edb\u011b\u017en\u00fd soupis Swobodov\u00fdch publikac\u00ed. V Bulletinu WMO [18] Munzar vyzvedl v\u00fdznam Swobodova pobytu v norsk\u00e9m m\u011bst\u011b Bergenu jak pro jeho osobn\u00ed odborn\u00fd v\u00fdvoj, tak i pro metodick\u00fd pokrok, kter\u00fd vnesl do p\u0159edpov\u011bdn\u00ed praxe pra\u017esk\u00e9ho St\u00e1tn\u00edho \u00fastavu meteorologick\u00e9ho. P\u0159ehledn\u011b o z\u00e1sluh\u00e1ch obou meteorolog\u016f je pojedn\u00e1no v souborn\u00fdch spisech o d\u011bjin\u00e1ch na\u0161\u00ed meteorologie [14, 15], ve slovn\u00edc\u00edch a podobn\u00fdch publikac\u00edch, nap\u0159. [20].<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\"><strong>2. Stanislav Hanzl\u00edk \u2013 v\u011bdec, vysoko\u0161kolsk\u00fd pedagog a cestovatel<\/strong><\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">\u00a0Stanislav Hanzl\u00edk se narodil 11. kv\u011btna 1878 v Plzni. Na Filozofick\u00e9 fakult\u011b Karlovy univerzity, kde studoval matematiku, fyziku a t\u011blocvik, promoval v roce 1902. P\u0159i studiu se soust\u0159edil na meteorologii a klimatologii jako \u017e\u00e1k profesora Franti\u0161ka Augustina (1846\u20131908), geografa, kter\u00fd byl prvn\u00edm profesorem uveden\u00fdch obor\u016f na univerzit\u011b. Mezi u\u010ditelem a \u017e\u00e1kem se vytvo\u0159ilo pouto trval\u00e9ho p\u0159\u00e1telstv\u00ed, kter\u00e9 trvalo a\u017e do Augustinovy smrti. Zvl\u00e1\u0161t\u011b pro mlad\u00e9ho absolventa \u0161koly bylo mimo\u0159\u00e1dn\u011b p\u0159\u00ednosn\u00e9. Profesor Augustin byl jeho \u017eivotn\u00edm r\u00e1dcem, pom\u00e1hal mu p\u0159i poskytov\u00e1n\u00ed studijn\u00edch stipendi\u00ed, bez nich\u017e by nemajetn\u00fd Hanzl\u00edk nemohl roz\u0161i\u0159ovat sv\u00e9 vzd\u011bl\u00e1n\u00ed na univerzit\u00e1ch v \u0160trasburku, Berl\u00edn\u011b, Cambridgi (USA), Washingtonu a V\u00eddni. Podporoval jeho publika\u010dn\u00ed \u010dinnost v domovin\u011b a honor\u00e1\u0159e za \u010dl\u00e1nky a refer\u00e1ty uve\u0159ej\u0148ovan\u00e9 ve v\u011bstn\u00edc\u00edch \u010cesk\u00e9 akademie v\u011bd, v \u017div\u011b a jin\u00fdch \u010dasopisech v\u011bdeck\u00fdch spole\u010dnost\u00ed mu pos\u00edlal do m\u00edst jeho moment\u00e1ln\u00edho pobytu v zahrani\u010d\u00ed. Sv\u00fdmi doporu\u010den\u00edmi a p\u0159\u00edmluvami u zn\u00e1m\u00fdch osobnost\u00ed sv\u00e9mu \u017e\u00e1kovi otv\u00edral dve\u0159e v\u011bdeck\u00e9ho sv\u011bta v m\u00ed\u0159e, jak\u00e9 se u\u017e nikdy nedostalo \u017e\u00e1dn\u00e9mu \u010desk\u00e9mu meteorologovi.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Pro Hanzl\u00edkovo v\u011bdeck\u00e9 sm\u011b\u0159ov\u00e1n\u00ed byl rozhoduj\u00edc\u00ed dvouap\u016fllet\u00fd pobyt ve Spojen\u00fdch st\u00e1tech americk\u00fdch v\u00a0letech 1903\u20131908, kde krom\u011b renomovan\u00fdch \u0161kol nav\u0161t\u011bvoval p\u0159edn\u00ed st\u00e1tn\u00ed meteorologick\u00e9 \u00fastavy a observato\u0159e, z\u00fa\u010dast\u0148oval se v\u011bdeck\u00fdch konferenc\u00ed a seznamoval s vynikaj\u00edc\u00edmi meteorology, geografy a geofyziky, a to nejen americk\u00fdmi. Praktick\u00e9 zku\u0161enosti zejm\u00e9na v aerologii a aktinometrii z\u00edskal b\u011bhem v\u00fdpravy lod\u00ed do severn\u00ed Afriky za \u00fapln\u00fdm zatm\u011bn\u00edm Slunce v roce 1905. V Americe se soustavn\u011b zab\u00fdval vlastnostmi rychle postupuj\u00edc\u00edch cyklon nad \u00fazem\u00edm USA ve snaze zjistit p\u0159\u00ed\u010dinu jejich r\u016fzn\u00e9 rychlosti; k jejich sledov\u00e1n\u00ed m\u011bl ji\u017e k\u00a0dispozici denn\u00ed pov\u011btrnostn\u00ed mapy. V\u00fdsledkem \u00famorn\u011b zdlouhav\u00e9 pr\u00e1ce, kter\u00fd ho nav\u00edc p\u0159\u00edli\u0161 neuspokojil, byl spis <em>Annual and geographical distribution of cyclones of high velocity (over 500 miles in 12 hours) in the United States 1893\u20131902<\/em> z roku 1904. Na\u0161t\u011bst\u00ed jej neodradil od dal\u0161\u00edho z\u00e1jmu o stavbu tlakov\u00fdch \u00fatvar\u016f.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Hanzl\u00edk by byl nejrad\u011bji pozn\u00e1val je\u0161t\u011b dal\u0161\u00ed meteorologick\u00e1 pracovi\u0161t\u011b v jin\u00fdch zem\u00edch, av\u0161ak v\u011bd\u011bl, \u017ee Augustin by studijn\u00ed cesty donekone\u010dna neschvaloval. Doporu\u010dil mu jen pobyt ve V\u00eddni u profesora Julia von Hanna (1839\u20131921), co\u017e Hanzl\u00edk p\u0159ijal jako dobr\u00fd n\u00e1vrh: <em>C\u00edt\u00edm, \u017ee Hann, ne snad jako prvn\u00ed meteorolog na sv\u011bt\u011b, ale jako prvn\u00ed rakousk\u00fd meteorolog a rozhoduj\u00edc\u00ed osobnost, bude m\u00edti d\u016fle\u017eit\u00fd vliv na mou mo\u017enou kari\u00e9ru; a kdybych V\u00edde\u0148 prost\u011b vynechal, bylo by to pro n\u011b ur\u00e1\u017ekou, pon\u011bvad\u017e t\u00edm bych dal najevo, \u017ee cizinu cen\u00edm v\u00edc ne\u017e V\u00edde\u0148, a t\u00edm bych si velmi \u0161kodil. Po roce se mus\u00edm do Evropy vr\u00e1titi, a to soud\u00edm, \u017ee by zprvu byla pro m\u011b V\u00edde\u0148 v\u00fdhodn\u011bj\u0161\u00ed, nemusil bych b\u00fdti poslucha\u010dem \u2013 naposlouchal jsem toho dosti \u2013 ne\u017e bych p\u0159ece r\u00e1d ud\u011blal n\u011bjakou dobrou pr\u00e1ci u Hanna, aby m\u011b seznal; a to je, na co kladu d\u016fraz&#8230;mimo toho v\u00edde\u0148sk\u00fd \u00fastav m\u00e1 zajist\u00e9 ohromnou bibliot\u00e9ku<\/em>, napsal Hanzl\u00edk pon\u011bkud sebev\u011bdom\u011b profesoru Augustinovi v dopise z Cambridge v americk\u00e9m st\u00e1t\u011b Massachusetts 10. \u010dervna 1904.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Pokud jde o d\u016fv\u011bru vkl\u00e1danou do profesora Hanna, Hanzl\u00edk se nezm\u00fdlil. V\u00edde\u0148sk\u00e1 meteorologick\u00e1 \u0161kola m\u011bla zvu\u010dn\u00e9 jm\u00e9no, a Hann dychtiv\u00e9mu z\u00e1jemci nab\u00eddl \u0159e\u0161en\u00ed ot\u00e1zky, pro\u010d anticyklony, je\u017e jsou naho\u0159e velmi studen\u00e9, maj\u00ed kr\u00e1tk\u00e9 trvan\u00ed, zat\u00edmco anticyklony naho\u0159e tepl\u00e9, jsou stacion\u00e1rn\u011bj\u0161\u00ed. Tak vznikly nejz\u00e1va\u017en\u011bj\u0161\u00ed Hanzl\u00edkovy pr\u00e1ce ze synoptick\u00e9 a dynamick\u00e9 meteorologie, kter\u00e9 mu zajistily sv\u011btovou proslulost: v\u00fdklady o prostorov\u00e9m rozd\u011blen\u00ed meteorologick\u00fdch prvk\u016f v anticyklon\u00e1ch [7] a cyklon\u00e1ch [8] z\u00a0let 1908 a 1912, kter\u00e9 jsou tak\u00e9 uvedeny mezi \u00fasp\u011bchy sv\u011btov\u00e9 meteorologie v kompendiu F. Linkeho a F. Baura. Vych\u00e1zely z pozorov\u00e1n\u00ed horsk\u00fdch observato\u0159\u00ed v Evrop\u011b a Americe, drakov\u00fdch m\u011b\u0159en\u00ed a sledov\u00e1n\u00ed tahu vysok\u00e9 obla\u010dnosti. U\u010dinily kone\u010dn\u011b meteorologii trojrozm\u011brnou. V\u00fdznam obou monografi\u00ed, je\u017e p\u0159isp\u011bly do teoretick\u00fdch z\u00e1klad\u016f norsk\u00e9 meteorologick\u00e9 \u0161koly, podrobn\u011b vysv\u011btlil O. Vychoval mnoho odborn\u00edk\u016f p\u016fsob\u00edc\u00edch na r\u016fzn\u00fdch druz\u00edch \u0161kol i mimo \u0161kolstv\u00ed \u2013 v rezortn\u00edch \u00fastavech a pracovi\u0161t\u00edch akademie v\u011bd. Jeho \u017e\u00e1ky byli i pozd\u011bj\u0161\u00ed profesor Mikul\u00e1\u0161 Kon\u010dek (1900\u20131982) a dr. \u0160tefan Petrovi\u010d (1906\u20132000), p\u0159edstavitel\u00e9 modern\u00ed slovensk\u00e9 meteorologie a klimatologie. Dr\u00e1hu univerzitn\u00edho pedagoga Hanzl\u00edk zah\u00e1jil habilitac\u00ed na Karlov\u011b univerzit\u011b v roce 1908 na z\u00e1klad\u011b ji\u017e zm\u00edn\u011bn\u00e9 studie o stavb\u011b a v\u00fdvoji anticyklon a v t\u00e9m\u017e roce po \u00famrt\u00ed prof. Augustina se stal \u0159editelem univerzitn\u00edho meteorologick\u00e9ho \u00fastavu. Mimo\u0159\u00e1dn\u00fdm profesorem meteorologie a klimatologie byl jmenov\u00e1n v\u00a0roce 1913, \u0159\u00e1dn\u00fdm profesorem v r roce 1924. Za sv\u00e9ho n\u00e1stupce se mu v\u0161ak nepoda\u0159ilo z\u00edskat docenta dr. Zde\u0148ka Sekeru (1905\u20131973), kter\u00e9ho pro funkci c\u00edlev\u011bdom\u011b p\u0159ipravoval. Kdy\u017e se Sekera rozhodl z pobytu v USA do vlasti nevr\u00e1tit, p\u0159edal star\u00fd profesor v roce 1954 veden\u00ed meteorologick\u00e9ho \u00fastavu Katedry fyziky na P\u0159\u00edrodov\u011bdeck\u00e9 fakult\u011b UK tehdej\u0161\u00edmu docentu dr. Aloisi Gregorovi (1892\u20131972).<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">S Hanzl\u00edkov\u00fdm u\u010ditelstv\u00edm souvis\u00ed jeho \u00fasp\u011b\u0161n\u00e1 kni\u017en\u00ed publikace <em>Z\u00e1klady meteorologie a klimatologie<\/em> [10], kter\u00e1 vy\u0161la ve t\u0159ech vyd\u00e1n\u00edch. Sou\u010dasn\u011b m\u011bla b\u00fdt \u00favodem k jin\u00e9 populariza\u010dn\u00ed kn\u00ed\u017ece nazvan\u00e9 Podneb\u00ed a \u010dlov\u011bk [9] z roku 1924, zaj\u00edmav\u00e9mu antropoklimatologick\u00e9mu d\u00edlu, je\u017e Hanzl\u00edk napsal d\u00edlem podle ciz\u00edch pramen\u016f, d\u00edlem podle vlastn\u00edho pozn\u00e1n\u00ed pov\u011btrnostn\u00edch a klimatick\u00fdch pom\u011br\u016f v r\u016fzn\u00fdch \u010d\u00e1stech sv\u011bta. B\u011bhem cest krom\u011b p\u0159\u00edrodn\u00edch zaj\u00edmavost\u00ed a kulturn\u00edch pam\u00e1tek nav\u0161t\u011bvoval meteorologick\u00e9 \u00fastavy a stanice a hluboce pro\u017e\u00edval oblastn\u00ed pov\u011btrnostn\u00ed \u00fakazy a jevy (tajfun apod). Ve sv\u00e9 dob\u011b pat\u0159il k na\u0161im nejv\u011bt\u0161\u00edm cestovatel\u016fm, jeho cesty m\u011bly v\u00fdzkumn\u00fd i turistick\u00fd r\u00e1z [16]. Z\u00edskan\u00fdmi poznatky a z\u00e1\u017eitky obohacoval sv\u00e9 p\u0159edn\u00e1\u0161ky a knihy.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Profesor Stanislav Hanzl\u00edk zem\u0159el n\u00e1hle 8. \u0159\u00edjna 1956 v Praze ve v\u011bku 78 let. Na ja\u0159e roku 1902 promoval na doktora filosofie jako \u017e\u00e1k Dr. Franti\u0161ka Augustina, prvn\u00edho profesora meteorologie a klimatologie na \u010desk\u00e9 universit\u011b. Odborn\u00e9 znalosti si potom roz\u0161i\u0159oval a dopl\u0148oval v zahrani\u010d\u00ed. L\u00e9to r. 1902 str\u00e1vil na meteorolo\u00adgick\u00e9 observato\u0159i ve \u0160trasburku, asi rok byl v Berl\u00edn\u011b. V letech 1903-4 byl na Harvardsk\u00e9 universit\u011b, pozd\u011bji a\u017e do jara 1906 pracoval ve washingtonsk\u00e9m Weather Bureau. Mezit\u00edm v srpnu 1905 se z\u00fa\u010dastnil v\u00fdpravy za slune\u010dn\u00edm zatm\u011bn\u00edm do Al\u017e\u00edru.Po p\u0159\u00edchodu na v\u00edde\u0148sk\u00fd \u00fastav dokon\u010dil v\u011bdeck\u00e9 pojedn\u00e1n\u00ed o stavb\u011b anticyklon, kter\u00fdm se roku 1908 habilitoval na Karlov\u011b universit\u011b. V t\u00e9m\u017ee roce, po \u00famrt\u00ed profesora Augustina, se stal \u0159editelem univer\u00adsitn\u00edho meteorologick\u00e9ho \u00fastavu. Roku 1913 byl jmenov\u00e1n mimo\u0159\u00e1dn\u00fdm a r. 1924 \u0159\u00e1dn\u00fdm profesorem p\u0159\u00edrodo\u00adv\u011bdeck\u00e9 fakulty University Karlovy v Praze. Po dlouhou \u0159adu let, i po odchodu na odpo\u010dinek, potom aktivn\u011b p\u016fsobil jako vysoko\u0161kolsk\u00fd u\u010ditel na universitn\u00edm meteorologick\u00e9m \u00fastavu. V r. 1956 za vynikaj\u00edc\u00ed v\u00fdsledky v\u011bdeck\u00e9 pr\u00e1ce byl mu ud\u011blen \u010destn\u00fd titul doktora fyzik\u00e1ln\u011b matematick\u00fdch v\u011bd. Promoce se v\u0161ak ji\u017e nedo\u010dkal, nebo\u0165 dne 8. \u0159\u00edjna 1956 n\u00e1hle zem\u0159el.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">V\u011bdeck\u00e1 \u010dinnost profesora Hanzl\u00edka je velmi \u0161irok\u00e1 a jej\u00ed hlavn\u00ed v\u00fdsledky jsou ulo\u017eeny ve 40 prac\u00edch. Zab\u00fdval se v nich nejen t\u00e9maty, kter\u00e1 byla aktu\u00e1ln\u00ed ze sv\u011btov\u00e9ho hlediska, ale na\u0161el si i \u010das k podrobn\u00e9mu rozboru \u010desk\u00fdch lidov\u00fdch pranostik vztahuj\u00edc\u00edch se k pr\u016fb\u011bhu po\u010das\u00ed v r\u016fzn\u00fdch ro\u010dn\u00edch dob\u00e1ch. V\u00fdznam t\u011bchto dvou, zd\u00e1nliv\u011b m\u00e1lo v\u011bdeck\u00fdch prac\u00ed, v\u00fdsti\u017en\u011b charakterizoval prof. Gregor takto: \u201eProfesor Hanzl\u00edk trp\u011bliv\u011b odd\u011bloval koukol od p\u0161enice a p\u0161enici pak podrobil v\u011bdeck\u00e9mu rozboru. Uk\u00e1zal, co se v pranostik\u00e1ch skr\u00fdv\u00e1 ze selsk\u00e9 moudrosti a bystr\u00e9ho pozorov\u00e1ni a co z toho plyne pro v\u011bdu. Ani tyto pr\u00e1ce nemaj\u00ed nakonec jen \u00fazk\u00fd r\u00e1mec provinci\u00e1ln\u00ed, nebo\u0165 poskytuj\u00ed orientaci o rozsahu a persistenci nebo labilit\u011b n\u011bkter\u00fdch meteorologick\u00fdch singularit evropsk\u00fdch.\u201d<\/span><\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Nejv\u011bt\u0161\u00ed po\u010det prac\u00ed (10 titul\u016f) spad\u00e1 do t\u00e9matiky, k n\u00ed\u017e se prof. Hanzl\u00edk v rozp\u011bt\u00ed let 1920 a\u017e 1953 n\u011bkolikr\u00e1t vracel. Jedn\u00e1 se o zji\u0161t\u011bn\u00ed vztahu mezi slune\u010dn\u00ed \u010dinnost\u00ed a \u010dasov\u00fdmi zm\u011bnami meteorologick\u00fdch prvk\u016f, p\u0159edev\u0161\u00edm sr\u00e1\u017eek, teploty a tlaku, p\u0159\u00edp. vztahu mezi slune\u010dn\u00ed \u010dinnost\u00ed a v\u0161eobecnou cirkulac\u00ed (1937). Tato t\u00e9matika je dosud \u017eiv\u00e1, ale velmi citliv\u00e1 na spr\u00e1vnou interpretaci. Profesor Hanzl\u00edk, na rozd\u00edl od mnoha nov\u011bj\u0161\u00edch autor\u016f, ji zpracov\u00e1val p\u0159\u00edsn\u011b v\u011bdecky bez jak\u00e9koli senzace a p\u0159edkl\u00e1dal pouze kriticky d\u016fkladn\u011b ov\u011b\u0159en\u00e9 v\u00fdsledky, kter\u00e9 maj\u00ed trvalou platnost.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Po\u010dtem prac\u00ed je d\u00e1le v\u00fdznamn\u00e1 skupina prac\u00ed klimatologick\u00fdch, resp. dynamicko-klimatologick\u00fdch. \u0158e\u0161en\u00e1 t\u00e9matika zab\u00edr\u00e1 velmi \u0161irok\u00e9 spektrum. Setk\u00e1v\u00e1me se v n\u00ed nejen s velmi speci\u00e1ln\u00edmi publikacemi, v nich\u017e se studuje ro\u010dn\u00ed chod a geografick\u00e9 rozlo\u017een\u00ed cyklon pohybuj\u00edc\u00edch se velkou rychlost\u00ed (r. 1904) nebo pou\u017eit\u00ed letokruh\u016f p\u0159i studiu podnebn\u00fdch zm\u011bn (r. 1948), ale i s pracemi zcela obecn\u00e9ho charakteru, kter\u00e9 se t\u00fdkaj\u00ed fyzik\u00e1ln\u00edho v\u00fdkladu p\u0159\u00ed\u010din posledn\u00ed doby ledov\u00e9 (r. 1930) nebo celkov\u00fdch klimatick\u00fdch zm\u011bn v histo\u00adrick\u00e9 dob\u011b (r. 1931). V n\u011bkter\u00fdch prac\u00edch, nap\u0159. v Encyklopedii \u010ceskoslovensk\u00e9 republiky (1923) nebo v Almanachu l\u00e1ze\u0148sk\u00e9m (r. 1920, 1937), podal prof. Hanzl\u00edk souhrnn\u00fd obraz klimatick\u00fdch pom\u011br\u016f \u010ceskoslo\u00advensk\u00e9 republiky. Na klimatologickou t\u00e9matiku \u00fazce navazuj\u00ed pr\u00e1ce o \u010detnosti bou\u0159ek v \u010cech\u00e1ch (r. 1928, 1930) nebo kol\u00eds\u00e1n\u00ed pr\u016fzra\u010dnosti atmosf\u00e9ry v z\u00e1vislosti na slune\u010dn\u00edm svitu (r. 1918).<\/span><\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Na okraji v\u011bdeck\u00e9 \u010dinnosti prof. Uk\u00e1zal, \u017ee o tom, zda p\u0159i kone\u010dn\u00e9m stavu v\u00fdvoje anticyklon\u00e1ln\u00ed v\u00edr je teplej\u0161\u00ed ne\u017e cyklon\u00e1ln\u00ed, rozhoduje po\u010d\u00e1te\u010dn\u00ed rozd\u00edl teplot vzduchov\u00fdch hmot (v orig. \u201eGegenstr\u00f6mung\u201d), kter\u00e9 tvo\u0159\u00ed oba v\u00edry. Naopak, kdy\u017e rozd\u00edl po\u010d\u00e1te\u010dn\u00edch teplot je velk\u00fd a oba v\u00edry vlivem zna\u010dn\u00e9 postupn\u00e9 rychlosti se nemohou vyv\u00edjet nahoru, potom jejich teplotn\u00ed pom\u011bry z\u016fstanou takov\u00e9, jak\u00e9 po\u017eaduje termick\u00e1 teorie (v\u011bt\u0161ina americk\u00fdch cyklon a anticyklon). V\u0161echny v\u00fd\u0161e uveden\u00e9 poznatky a z\u00e1v\u011bry dosud pln\u011b plat\u00ed a po v\u00edce ne\u017e 60 letech mohou b\u00fdt beze zbytku uvedeny v nejmodern\u011bj\u0161\u00edch u\u010debnic\u00edch synoptick\u00e9 meteorologie.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">V\u00fdznam obou monografi\u00ed, kter\u00e9 zajistily prof. Hanzl\u00edkovi sv\u011btovou proslulost, nespo\u010d\u00edv\u00e1 jen v objevu tepl\u00fdch anticyklon a ve vysv\u011btlen\u00ed v\u00fdvoje a teplotn\u00ed p\u0159em\u011bny cyklon a anticyklon. Je je\u0161t\u011b obecn\u011bj\u0161\u00edho cha\u00adrakteru. Prof. Hanzl\u00edk toti\u017e t\u00edm, \u017ee na z\u00e1kladn\u00ed \u010dl\u00e1nky v\u0161eobecn\u00e9 cirkulace atmosf\u00e9ry pohl\u00ed\u017eel jako na troj\u00adrozm\u011brn\u00e1 t\u011blesa, prvn\u00ed p\u0159ekonal v\u011bdeckou krizi ve v\u00fdzkumu tlakov\u00fdch \u00fatvar\u016f, kter\u00fd do t\u00e9 doby se konal pouze na z\u00e1klad\u011b p\u0159\u00edzemn\u00edch pozorov\u00e1n\u00ed. D\u00e1le ob\u011b monografie si zaslou\u017e\u00ed nejvy\u0161\u0161\u00ed pozornosti i proto, \u017ee n\u011b\u00adkter\u00e9 v nich uveden\u00e9 poznatky byly p\u0159\u00edpravou k teoretick\u00fdm z\u00e1klad\u016fm sv\u011btozn\u00e1m\u00e9 norsk\u00e9 \u0161koly veden\u00e9 V. Bjerknesem.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Ale ani p\u0159i prac\u00edch o struktu\u0159e anticyklon a cyklon, kter\u00e9 ze sv\u011btov\u00e9ho hlediska jsou nesporn\u011b nej-d\u016fle\u017eit\u011bj\u0161\u00ed, nen\u00ed mo\u017en\u00e9 zapomenout na dal\u0161\u00ed \u010dinnost prof. Hanzl\u00edka sm\u011b\u0159uj\u00edc\u00ed k pokroku v meteorologii. Jedn\u00e1 se o jeho mnohalet\u00e9 p\u016fsoben\u00ed jako vysoko\u0161kolsk\u00e9ho pedagoga, p\u0159i n\u011bm\u017e zd\u00e1rn\u011b uplat\u0148oval sv\u00e9 bohat\u00e9 znalosti a zku\u0161enosti ve v\u00fdchov\u011b cel\u00e9 generace zdatn\u00fdch \u010deskoslovensk\u00fdch odborn\u00edk\u016f. Na tuto \u010dinnost \u00fazce navazovaly jeho kni\u017en\u00ed publikace, z nich\u017e n\u011bkter\u00e9 m\u011bly charakter vynikaj\u00edc\u00edch u\u010debnic. Nejzn\u00e1m\u011bj\u0161\u00edmi jsou \u201ePodneb\u00ed a \u010dlov\u011bk\u201d a zejm\u00e9na \u201eZ\u00e1klady meteorologie a klimatologie\u201d, kter\u00e9 pro svou v\u011bdeckou \u00farove\u0148 a srozumitelnost vy\u0161ly celkem ve t\u0159ech vyd\u00e1n\u00edch. Tyto kni\u017en\u00ed publikace doposud maj\u00ed sv\u016fj v\u00fdznam p\u0159i roz\u0161i\u0159ov\u00e1n\u00ed meteorolo\u00adgick\u00fdch znalost\u00ed, a to nejenom mezi laiky, ale i mezi odborn\u00edky.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Bylo by mo\u017en\u00e9 uv\u00e9st je\u0161t\u011b dal\u0161\u00ed z\u00e1slu\u017en\u00e9 \u010dinnosti prof. Hanzl\u00edka pro rozvoj meteorologie. Na z\u00e1v\u011br mus\u00edme je\u0161t\u011b jednou zd\u016fraznit, \u017ee prof. Hanzl\u00edk byl \u010deskoslovensk\u00fd meteorolog sv\u011btov\u00e9ho v\u00fdznamu, kter\u00fd svou v\u011bdeckou prac\u00ed a celo\u017eivotn\u00ed \u010dinnost\u00ed zna\u010dn\u011b p\u0159isp\u011bl k pokroku sv\u00e9ho oboru. Pietn\u00ed akt byl dokon\u010den v zasedac\u00ed s\u00edni Hydrometeoro\u00adlogick\u00e9ho \u00fastavu v Praze. \u00da\u010dastn\u00edci zhl\u00e9dli film z I. celost\u00e1tn\u00ed meteorologick\u00e9 konference v Bratislav\u011b ko\u00adnan\u00e9 21.\u201425. \u0159\u00edjna 1952, kde profesor Hanzl\u00edk p\u0159edn\u00e1\u00ad\u0161el, a prohl\u00e9dli si malou v\u00fdstavku dokument\u016f a publi\u00adkac\u00ed prezentuj\u00edc\u00edch p\u0159edev\u0161\u00edm odbornou \u010dinnost. Studium matematiky a fyziky ukon\u010dil v prosinci 1901 st\u00e1tn\u00edmi zkou\u0161kami na filosofick\u00e9 fakult\u011b University Karlovy v Praze. Na ja\u0159e roku 1902 promoval na doktora filosofie jako \u017e\u00e1k Dr. Franti\u0161ka Augustina, prvn\u00edho profesora meteorologie a klimatologie na \u010desk\u00e9 universit\u011b. Odborn\u00e9 znalosti si potom roz\u0161i\u0159oval a dopl\u0148oval v zahrani\u010d\u00ed. L\u00e9to r. 1902 str\u00e1vil na meteorolo\u00adgick\u00e9 observato\u0159i ve \u0160trasburku, asi rok byl v Berl\u00edn\u011b. V letech 1903\u20144 byl na Harvardsk\u00e9 universit\u011b, pozd\u011bji a\u017e do jara 1906 pracoval ve washingtonsk\u00e9m Weather Bureau. Mezit\u00edm v srpnu 1905 se z\u00fa\u010dastnil v\u00fdpravy za slune\u010dn\u00edm zatm\u011bn\u00edm do Al\u017e\u00edru.<\/span><\/p><div><p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Po p\u0159\u00edchodu na v\u00edde\u0148sk\u00fd \u00fastav dokon\u010dil v\u011bdeck\u00e9 pojedn\u00e1n\u00ed o stavb\u011b anticyklon, kter\u00fdm se roku 1908 habilitoval na Karlov\u011b universit\u011b. V t\u00e9m\u017ee roce, po \u00famrt\u00ed profesora Augustina, se stal \u0159editelem univer\u00adsitn\u00edho meteorologick\u00e9ho \u00fastavu. Roku 1913 byl jmenov\u00e1n mimo\u0159\u00e1dn\u00fdm a r. 1924 \u0159\u00e1dn\u00fdm profesorem p\u0159\u00edrodo\u00adv\u011bdeck\u00e9 fakulty University Karlovy v Praze. Po dlouhou \u0159adu let, i po odchodu na odpo\u010dinek, potom aktivn\u011b p\u016fsobil jako vysoko\u0161kolsk\u00fd u\u010ditel na universitn\u00edm meteorologick\u00e9m \u00fastavu. V r. 1956 za vynikaj\u00edc\u00ed v\u00fdsledky v\u011bdeck\u00e9 pr\u00e1ce byl mu ud\u011blen \u010destn\u00fd titul doktora fyzik\u00e1ln\u011b matematick\u00fdch v\u011bd. Promoce se v\u0161ak ji\u017e nedo\u010dkal, nebo\u0165 dne 8. \u0159\u00edjna 1956 n\u00e1hle zem\u0159el.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">V\u011bdeck\u00e1 \u010dinnost profesora Hanzl\u00edka je velmi \u0161irok\u00e1 a jej\u00ed hlavn\u00ed v\u00fdsledky jsou ulo\u017eeny ve 40 prac\u00edch. Zab\u00fdval se v nich nejen t\u00e9maty, kter\u00e1 byla aktu\u00e1ln\u00ed ze sv\u011btov\u00e9ho hlediska, ale na\u0161el si i \u010das k podrobn\u00e9mu rozboru \u010desk\u00fdch lidov\u00fdch pranostik vztahuj\u00edc\u00edch se k pr\u016fb\u011bhu po\u010das\u00ed v r\u016fzn\u00fdch ro\u010dn\u00edch dob\u00e1ch. V\u00fdznam t\u011bchto dvou, zd\u00e1nliv\u011b m\u00e1lo v\u011bdeck\u00fdch prac\u00ed, v\u00fdsti\u017en\u011b charakterizoval prof. Gregor takto: \u201eProfesor Hanzl\u00edk trp\u011bliv\u011b odd\u011bloval koukol od p\u0161enice a p\u0161enici pak podrobil v\u011bdeck\u00e9mu rozboru. Uk\u00e1zal, co se v pranostik\u00e1ch skr\u00fdv\u00e1 ze selsk\u00e9 moudrosti a bystr\u00e9ho pozorov\u00e1ni a co z toho plyne pro v\u011bdu. Ani tyto pr\u00e1ce nemaj\u00ed nakonec jen \u00fazk\u00fd r\u00e1mec provinci\u00e1ln\u00ed, nebo\u0165 poskytuj\u00ed orientaci o rozsahu a persistenci nebo labilit\u011b n\u011bkter\u00fdch meteorologick\u00fdch singularit evropsk\u00fdch.&#8221;<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Nejv\u011bt\u0161\u00ed po\u010det prac\u00ed (10 titul\u016f) spad\u00e1 do t\u00e9matiky, k n\u00ed\u017e se prof. Hanzl\u00edk v rozp\u011bt\u00ed let 1920 a\u017e 1953 n\u011bkolikr\u00e1t vracel. Jedn\u00e1 se o zji\u0161t\u011bn\u00ed vztahu mezi slune\u010dn\u00ed \u010dinnost\u00ed a \u010dasov\u00fdmi zm\u011bnami meteorologick\u00fdch prvk\u016f, p\u0159edev\u0161\u00edm sr\u00e1\u017eek, teploty a tlaku, p\u0159\u00edp. vztahu mezi slune\u010dn\u00ed \u010dinnost\u00ed a v\u0161eobecnou cirkulac\u00ed (1937). Tato t\u00e9matika je dosud \u017eiv\u00e1, ale velmi citliv\u00e1 na spr\u00e1vnou interpretaci. Profesor Hanzl\u00edk, na rozd\u00edl od mnoha nov\u011bj\u0161\u00edch autor\u016f, ji zpracov\u00e1val p\u0159\u00edsn\u011b v\u011bdecky bez jak\u00e9koli senzace a p\u0159edkl\u00e1dal pouze kriticky d\u016fkladn\u011b ov\u011b\u0159en\u00e9 v\u00fdsledky, kter\u00e9 maj\u00ed trvalou platnost.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Po\u010dtem prac\u00ed je d\u00e1le v\u00fdznamn\u00e1 skupina prac\u00ed klimatologick\u00fdch, resp. dynamicko-klimatologick\u00fdch. \u0158e\u0161en\u00e1 t\u00e9matika zab\u00edr\u00e1 velmi \u0161irok\u00e9 spektrum. Setk\u00e1v\u00e1me se v n\u00ed nejen s velmi speci\u00e1ln\u00edmi publikacemi, v nich\u017e se studuje ro\u010dn\u00ed chod a geografick\u00e9 rozlo\u017een\u00ed cyklon pohybuj\u00edc\u00edch se velkou rychlost\u00ed (r. 1904) nebo pou\u017eit\u00ed letokruh\u016f p\u0159i studiu podnebn\u00fdch zm\u011bn (r. 1948), ale i s pracemi zcela obecn\u00e9ho charakteru, kter\u00e9 se t\u00fdkaj\u00ed fyzik\u00e1ln\u00edho v\u00fdkladu p\u0159\u00ed\u010din posledn\u00ed doby ledov\u00e9 (r. 1930) nebo celkov\u00fdch klimatick\u00fdch zm\u011bn v histo\u00adrick\u00e9 dob\u011b (r. 1931). Hanzl\u00edka je n\u011bkolik p\u0159ehledn\u00fdch publikac\u00ed o pokroc\u00edch meteorologie a klimatologie za ur\u010dit\u00e9 obdob\u00ed, p\u0159\u00edp. o rozvoji meteorologie a meteorologick\u00fdch pozorov\u00e1n\u00ed v \u010ceskoslovensk\u00e9 republice. Krom\u011b toho prof. Hanzl\u00edk byl t\u00e9\u017e autorem dvou \u010dl\u00e1nk\u016f o unifikaci sr\u00e1\u017ekov\u00fdch m\u011b\u0159en\u00ed.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">V\u011bdecky nejz\u00e1va\u017en\u011bj\u0161\u00ed, i kdy\u017e ne nejpo\u010detn\u011bj\u0161\u00ed (celkem 8 titul\u016f), jsou pr\u00e1ce prof. Hanzl\u00edka ze synoptick\u00e9 a dynamick\u00e9 meteorologie. Existuj\u00ed jak tepl\u00e9, tak i studen\u00e9 cyklony a anti\u00adcyklony. Tepl\u00e9 cyklony a studen\u00e9 anticyklony p\u0159edstavuj\u00ed po\u010d\u00e1te\u010dn\u00ed v\u00fdvojov\u00e9 stadium. Oba v\u00edry jsou zprvu m\u011blk\u00e9, teplotn\u00ed rozd\u00edly v nich v\u00fdznamn\u00e9 a jejich osy jsou sklon\u011bny siln\u011b dozadu. Teplotn\u00ed pom\u011bry odpov\u00eddaj\u00ed po\u017eadavk\u016fm termick\u00e9 teorie, proto\u017ee t\u011bleso anticyklony se skl\u00e1d\u00e1 p\u0159edev\u0161\u00edm ze studen\u00fdch vzduchov\u00fdch hmot a t\u011bleso cyklony z tepl\u00fdch. Oba \u00fatvary se rychle pohybuj\u00ed.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Tepl\u00e1 anticyklona a studen\u00e1 cyklona p\u0159edstavuj\u00ed kone\u010dnou f\u00e1zi ve v\u00fdvoji. Teplotn\u00ed rozd\u00edly v \u00fatvarech nejsou ji\u017e tak v\u00fdrazn\u00e9, vertik\u00e1ln\u00ed tlou\u0161\u0165ka je zna\u010dn\u00e1 a osy kolm\u011bj\u0161\u00ed ne\u017e v po\u010d\u00e1te\u010dn\u00edm stadiu. Pohybuj\u00ed se po\u00admalu, \u010dasto nepravideln\u011b. Tato dvojice odpov\u00edd\u00e1 po\u017eadavk\u016fm dynamick\u00e9 teorie. Anticyklona se skl\u00e1d\u00e1 p\u0159e\u00addev\u0161\u00edm z tepl\u00e9 vzduchov\u00e9 hmoty a cyklona ze studen\u00e9.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Prof. Hanzl\u00edk spr\u00e1vn\u011b zd\u016fraznil \u00falohu vertik\u00e1ln\u00ed slo\u017eky proud\u011bn\u00ed pro v\u00fdvoj cyklon i anticyklon, nebo\u0165 v\u00fdstupn\u00e9 pohyby postupn\u011b ochlazuj\u00ed vzduch v cyklon\u011b a naopak sestupn\u00e9 pohyby v anticyklon\u011b jej otepluj\u00ed. Sv\u00fdch poznatk\u016f dovedl pou\u017e\u00edt i k vy\u0159e\u0161en\u00ed tehdej\u0161\u00edho v\u011bdeck\u00e9ho sporu mezi evropsk\u00fdmi a americk\u00fdmi meteorology o teplotn\u00edm charakteru anticyklon a cyklon. Uk\u00e1zal, \u017ee o tom, zda p\u0159i kone\u010dn\u00e9m stavu v\u00fdvoje anticyklon\u00e1ln\u00ed v\u00edr je teplej\u0161\u00ed ne\u017e cyklon\u00e1ln\u00ed, rozhoduje po\u010d\u00e1te\u010dn\u00ed rozd\u00edl teplot vzduchov\u00fdch hmot (v orig. \u201eGegenstr\u00f6mung&#8221;), kter\u00e9 tvo\u0159\u00ed oba v\u00edry. Kdy\u017e rozd\u00edl je mal\u00fd a \u00fatvary se vyv\u00edjej\u00ed a\u017e do velk\u00fdch v\u00fd\u0161ek, potom teplotn\u00ed pom\u011bry odpov\u00eddaj\u00ed po\u017eadavk\u016fm dynamick\u00e9 teorie (v\u011bt\u0161ina evropsk\u00fdch cyklon a anticyklon). Naopak, kdy\u017e rozd\u00edl po\u010d\u00e1te\u010dn\u00edch teplot je velk\u00fd a oba v\u00edry vlivem zna\u010dn\u00e9 postupn\u00e9 rychlosti se nemohou vyv\u00edjet nahoru, potom jejich teplotn\u00ed pom\u011bry z\u016fstanou takov\u00e9, jak\u00e9 po\u017eaduje termick\u00e1 teorie (v\u011bt\u0161ina americk\u00fdch cyklon a anticyklon). V\u0161echny v\u00fd\u0161e uveden\u00e9 poznatky a z\u00e1v\u011bry dosud pln\u011b plat\u00ed a po v\u00edce ne\u017e 60 letech mohou b\u00fdt beze zbytku uvedeny v nejmodern\u011bj\u0161\u00edch u\u010debnic\u00edch synoptick\u00e9 meteorologie.<\/span><\/p><\/div><p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">V\u00fdznam obou monografi\u00ed, kter\u00e9 zajistily prof. Hanzl\u00edkovi sv\u011btovou proslulost, nespo\u010d\u00edv\u00e1 jen v objevu tepl\u00fdch anticyklon a ve vysv\u011btlen\u00ed v\u00fdvoje a teplotn\u00ed p\u0159em\u011bny cyklon a anticyklon. Je je\u0161t\u011b obecn\u011bj\u0161\u00edho cha\u00adrakteru. Prof. Hanzl\u00edk toti\u017e t\u00edm, \u017ee na z\u00e1kladn\u00ed \u010dl\u00e1nky v\u0161eobecn\u00e9 cirkulace atmosf\u00e9ry pohl\u00ed\u017eel jako na troj\u00adrozm\u011brn\u00e1 t\u011blesa, prvn\u00ed p\u0159ekonal v\u011bdeckou krizi ve v\u00fdzkumu tlakov\u00fdch \u00fatvar\u016f, kter\u00fd do t\u00e9 doby se konal pouze na z\u00e1klad\u011b p\u0159\u00edzemn\u00edch pozorov\u00e1n\u00ed. D\u00e1le ob\u011b monografie si zaslou\u017e\u00ed nejvy\u0161\u0161\u00ed pozornosti i proto, \u017ee n\u011b\u00adkter\u00e9 v nich uveden\u00e9 poznatky byly p\u0159\u00edpravou k teoretick\u00fdm z\u00e1klad\u016fm sv\u011btozn\u00e1m\u00e9 norsk\u00e9 \u0161koly veden\u00e9 V. Bjerknesem.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Ale ani p\u0159i prac\u00edch o struktu\u0159e anticyklon a cyklon, kter\u00e9 ze sv\u011btov\u00e9ho hlediska jsou nesporn\u011b nej-d\u016fle\u017eit\u011bj\u0161\u00ed, nen\u00ed mo\u017en\u00e9 zapomenout na dal\u0161\u00ed \u010dinnost prof. Hanzl\u00edka sm\u011b\u0159uj\u00edc\u00ed k pokroku v meteorologii. Jedn\u00e1 se o jeho mnohalet\u00e9 p\u016fsoben\u00ed jako vysoko\u0161kolsk\u00e9ho pedagoga, p\u0159i n\u011bm\u017e zd\u00e1rn\u011b uplat\u0148oval sv\u00e9 bohat\u00e9 znalosti a zku\u0161enosti ve v\u00fdchov\u011b cel\u00e9 generace zdatn\u00fdch \u010deskoslovensk\u00fdch odborn\u00edk\u016f. Na tuto \u010dinnost \u00fazce navazovaly jeho kni\u017en\u00ed publikace, z nich\u017e n\u011bkter\u00e9 m\u011bly charakter vynikaj\u00edc\u00edch u\u010debnic. Nejzn\u00e1m\u011bj\u0161\u00edmi jsou \u201ePodneb\u00ed a \u010dlov\u011bk&#8221; a zejm\u00e9na \u201eZ\u00e1klady meteorologie a klimatologie&#8221;, kter\u00e9 pro svou v\u011bdeckou \u00farove\u0148 a srozumitelnost vy\u0161ly celkem ve t\u0159ech vyd\u00e1n\u00edch. Tyto kni\u017en\u00ed publikace doposud maj\u00ed sv\u016fj v\u00fdznam p\u0159i roz\u0161i\u0159ov\u00e1n\u00ed meteorolo\u00adgick\u00fdch znalost\u00ed, a to nejenom mezi laiky, ale i mezi odborn\u00edky.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Bylo by mo\u017en\u00e9 uv\u00e9st je\u0161t\u011b dal\u0161\u00ed z\u00e1slu\u017en\u00e9 \u010dinnosti prof. Hanzl\u00edka pro rozvoj meteorologie. Na z\u00e1v\u011br mus\u00edme je\u0161t\u011b jednou zd\u016fraznit, \u017ee prof. Hanzl\u00edk byl \u010deskoslovensk\u00fd meteorolog sv\u011btov\u00e9ho v\u00fdznamu, kter\u00fd svou v\u011bdeckou prac\u00ed a celo\u017eivotn\u00ed \u010dinnost\u00ed zna\u010dn\u011b p\u0159isp\u011bl k pokroku sv\u00e9ho oboru. Po promoci na doktora filosofie na Karlov\u011b universit\u011b v roce 1902, Dr Hanzl\u00edk, \u017e\u00e1k tehdej\u0161\u00edho prvn\u00edho profesora meteorologie a klimato\u00adlogie na \u010desk\u00e9 universit\u011b Dr Fr. Dlel na universit\u00e1ch ve \u0160trasburku, v Berl\u00edn\u011b, Harvardu, v meteorologick\u00e9m \u00fastavu ve Washingtonu a ve V\u00eddni.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">V\u00edde\u0148sk\u00fd pobyt korunoval jeho v\u011bdeckou \u010dinnost vy\u00adpracov\u00e1n\u00edm dvou velk\u00fdch pojedn\u00e1n\u00ed z nauky o anticyklo\u00adn\u00e1ch a cyklon\u00e1ch, z nich\u017e prv\u00fdm se habilitoval na Karlov\u011b universit\u011b v roce 1908. V t\u00e9m\u017e roce, po \u00famrt\u00ed prof. Dr Fr. Augustina, se stal \u0159editelem meteorologick\u00e9ho \u00fastavu uni\u00adversitn\u00edho, kter\u00fd spravoval po 40 let. V roce 1913 se stal mimo\u0159\u00e1dn\u00fdm, v roce 1924 \u0159\u00e1dn\u00fdm profesorem p\u0159\u00edrodo\u00adv\u011bdeck\u00e9 fakulty university Karlovy.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">V seznamu v\u011bdeck\u00fdch prac\u00ed a spis\u016f prof. Hanzl\u00edka, uveden\u00e9m v p\u0159\u00edloze, nach\u00e1z\u00edme d\u00edla, kter\u00e1 maj\u00ed sv\u011btov\u00fd form\u00e1t a trval\u00fd v\u00fdznam.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">To je zvl\u00e1\u0161\u0165 nutno vyzvednout o zm\u00edn\u011bn\u00fdch monogra\u00adfi\u00edch, t\u00fdkaj\u00edc\u00edch se stavby anticyklon a cyklon, kter\u00e9 vy\u00adtv\u00e1\u0159ej\u00ed po\u010das\u00ed zejm\u00e9na v m\u00edrn\u00fdch \u0161\u00ed\u0159k\u00e1ch. Tyto pr\u00e1ce, vznikl\u00e9 mezi rokem 1908 a\u017e 1912 za patronace prof. J. Hanna ve V\u00eddni, byly prvn\u00ed studie, kter\u00e9 analyzuj\u00ed \u201et\u011blesa&#8221; cyklon a anticyklon, tedy jejich slo\u017een\u00ed prosto\u00adrov\u00e9, hlavn\u011b podle pozorov\u00e1n\u00ed na hor\u00e1ch. Tyto studie vznikly teprve n\u011bkolik m\u00e1lo let v \u201enovov\u011bku&#8221; meteorolo\u00adgie, klademe-li mo\u017enost modern\u00edho naz\u00edr\u00e1n\u00ed v t\u00e9to v\u011bd\u011b ve spojitost s objevem stratosf\u00e9ry pomoc\u00ed neobsazen\u00fdch balon\u016f. Dr Hanzl\u00edk zpracoval hlavn\u011b pozorov\u00e1n\u00ed na ho\u00adr\u00e1ch a dostal tak fysik\u00e1ln\u00ed profil barometrick\u00fdch t\u011bles. T\u00edm posunul v\u00fdzkum t\u011bchto z\u00e1kladn\u00edch \u010dl\u00e1nk\u016f sv\u011btov\u00e9 cirku\u00adlace ovzdu\u0161\u00ed o d\u016fle\u017eit\u00fd krok kup\u0159edu. Profesor Hanzl\u00edk prvn\u00ed p\u0159ekonal tuto v\u011bdeckou krizi ve v\u00fdzkumu barometrick\u00fdch \u00fatvar\u016f. Od jeho dob, zhruba v uplynul\u00fdch 50 letech, vy\u0161ly arci\u0165 nes\u010d\u00edsln\u00e9 pr\u00e1ce o vlast\u00adnostech anticyklon a cyklon, zalo\u017een\u00e9 na nejmodern\u011bj\u0161\u00edm zp\u016fsobu m\u011b\u0159en\u00ed ve voln\u00e9m ovzdu\u0161\u00ed. V\u017edycky v\u0161ak byly potvrzeny z\u00e1kladn\u00ed Hanzl\u00edkovy these, vypracovan\u00e9 pom\u011br\u00adn\u011b jednoduch\u00fdmi prost\u0159edky tehdej\u0161\u00ed doby a vynikaj\u00edc\u00ed nadto vzornou metodikou zpracov\u00e1n\u00ed.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Cizina ocenila z\u00e1va\u017enost v\u00fdzkumu prof. Hanzl\u00edka, nebo\u0165 jeho dnes ji\u017e klasick\u00e1 d\u00edla jsou trvale citov\u00e1na. Ani tyto pr\u00e1ce nemaj\u00ed nakonec jen \u00fazk\u00fd r\u00e1mec provinci\u00e1ln\u00ed, nebo\u0165 poskytuj\u00ed orientaci o rozsahu a persistenci nebo labilit\u011b n\u011bkter\u00fdch meteorologick\u00fdch singularit evropsk\u00fdch. Dal\u0161\u00ed pr\u00e1ce t\u00e9to kategorie p\u0159ichystal prof. Procestoval celou Evropu, na D\u00e1ln\u00e9m V\u00fdchod\u011b str\u00e1vil v\u00edc ne\u017e rok. Byl v Americe, v severn\u00ed Africe. Mete\u00adorologick\u00e9 a klimatologick\u00e9 zku\u0161enosti z tohoto putov\u00e1n\u00ed a poznatky z v\u011bdeck\u00fdch konferenc\u00ed uplat\u0148oval v univer\u00adsitn\u00edch p\u0159edn\u00e1\u0161k\u00e1ch, ve stovk\u00e1ch popul\u00e1rn\u00edch extens\u00ed a v radiu. Jeho u\u010debnice (uveden\u00e9 v seznamu) jsou pro\u00addchnuty z\u00e1\u017eitky z t\u011bchto cest. T\u00edm z\u00edsk\u00e1vaj\u00ed v\u00fdklady na barvitosti, zejm\u00e9na ve sf\u00e9\u0159e vlivu klimatu na p\u0159\u00edrodu a \u010dlo\u00adv\u011bka.<\/span><\/p><\/div><p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">V ocen\u011bn\u00ed sv\u011btov\u00e9ho v\u00fdznamu prof. Hanzl\u00edka byl mu v tomto roce ud\u011blen \u010destn\u00fd titul doktora fysik\u00e1ln\u011b mate\u00admatick\u00fdch v\u011bd nov\u00e9ho typu, \u017eel, \u017ee promoce se uskute\u010d\u00adnila in memoriam t\u00fdden po poh\u0159bu.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">\u010ceskosloven\u0161t\u00ed meteorologov\u00e9 ztr\u00e1cej\u00ed v zesnul\u00e9m sv\u00e9ho nestora. Na prvn\u00ed meteorologick\u00e9 konferenci v Bratislav\u011b v roce 1952 mu svoji l\u00e1sku manifesta\u010dn\u011b dali najevo. M\u016f\u017eeme jej vid\u011bt na Karlov\u011b universit\u011b, kde v tomto semestru p\u0159edn\u00e1\u0161\u00ed o region\u00e1ln\u00ed klimatologii a klimatografii, \u010dasto jej vid\u00edme na St\u00e1tn\u00edm meteorologick\u00e9m \u00fastavu, a ur\u010dit\u011b se s n\u00edm setk\u00e1me tak\u00e9 v\u0161ude tam, kde se sch\u00e1zej\u00ed meteorologov\u00e9, aby diskutovali o prac\u00edch sv\u00e9ho oboru, a\u0165 jsou to sjezdy, konference nebo diskusn\u00ed krou\u017eky universitn\u00ed. Nikde v\u0161ak nen\u00ed prof. Hanzl\u00edk \u00fa\u010dastn\u00ed\u00adkem pasivn\u00edm, v\u017edycky m\u00e1 co \u0159\u00edci, v\u017edy dovede poradit a pomoci. \u017de je st\u00e1le \u010dinn\u00fdm liter\u00e1rn\u011b, dokazuje i jeho p\u0159\u00edsp\u011bvek v tomto \u010d\u00edsle. Redakce Meteorologick\u00fdch zpr\u00e1v p\u0159eje prof. Dr Hanzl\u00edkovi za v\u0161echny \u010deskoslovensk\u00e9 meteorology a p\u0159\u00e1tele meteorologie mnoh\u00e1 dal\u0161\u00ed l\u00e9ta.<\/span><\/p><\/div><div><p><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Ji\u017e v d\u0159\u00edv\u011bj\u0161\u00edch vzpom\u00ednk\u00e1ch \u2014 p\u0159ed p\u011bti a deseti lety \u2014 jsme poznali aspo\u0148 v n\u00e1znaku pana profesora tak\u00e9 s jin\u00e9, lidsk\u00e9 str\u00e1nky. Budi\u017e dovoleno pokra\u010dovat p\u0159i 75. narozenin\u00e1ch podobn\u00fdm t\u00f3nem m\u00edsto obvykl\u00e9ho \u017eivotopisu. A hlavn\u011b pou\u017e\u00edt k tomu vlastn\u00edch slov pana profesora z n\u011bkolika jeho dopis\u016f.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">N\u00e1\u0161 mil\u00fd jubilant byl \u0161\u00e9fem laskav\u00fdm. Dokladem toho je na p\u0159\u00edklad, jak ps\u00e1val z pr\u00e1zdnin s \u00fasm\u011bvn\u00fdm humorem:<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">\u201eKrom\u011b toho bych V\u00e1s prosil o toto. Chci se pod\u00edvat na v\u00fdstavu do Brna a na Macochu. Cht\u011bl bych turistick\u00e9ho pr\u016fvodce pro tuto oblast. Chod\u00edte-li k Flek\u016fm na pivo, tu v K\u0159emencov\u00e9 ulici, kdy\u017e do n\u00ed vstoup\u00edte, je po prav\u00e9 stran\u011b t\u0159et\u00ed \u010di \u010dtvrt\u00fd d\u016fm turistick\u00e9 knihkupectv\u00ed. Tak\u00e9 byste se tam mohl po\u00adptat, je-li n\u011bjak\u00fd pr\u016fvodce po \u010desk\u00e9m jihu (m\u00e1m tu zvl\u00e1\u0161t\u011b na mysli Bud\u011bjovice, nikoli \u0160umavu!). Cht\u011bl bych se do Bud\u011bjovic pod\u00edvat na n\u011bjakou hodinku, nezaj\u00edm\u00e1 mne tedy n\u011bjak\u00e9 monument\u00e1ln\u00ed d\u00edlo. \u2014 Dou\u00adf\u00e1m, \u017ee jste se zat\u00edm \u201esebral&#8221;, doporu\u010duji ob\u010das zp\u00e1te\u010dn\u00ed l\u00edstek na Zbraslav a v\u011bnec bu\u0159t\u016f do kapsy.&#8221;<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Profesor Hanzl\u00edk se staral otcovsky o \u201epevnou \u017eidli&#8221; pro sv\u00e9 asistenty, bez ohledu na to, \u017ee ho n\u011bkdy \u201e\u017eulili&#8221;, zlobili a neposlouchali, jak u\u017e to b\u00fdv\u00e1 v \u017eivot\u011b. Zapomn\u011bl nakonec na v\u0161echno, a kdy\u017e m\u011bl p\u0159\u00edle\u00ad\u017eitost, napsal na p\u0159\u00edklad takovou gratulaci:<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">\u201eMil\u00fd doktore, Va\u0161e radostn\u00e1 zpr\u00e1va byla mi dod\u00e1na v tom okam\u017eiku, kdy V\u00e1s promovali, a p\u0159i\u0161la spolu s prvn\u00edm slune\u010dn\u00fdm dnem, kter\u00fd se usm\u00e1l na na\u0161e t\u0159ebo\u0148sk\u00e9 rybn\u00edky, lesy a louky. Cht\u011bl bych, aby onen den z\u016fstal i symbolick\u00fdm pro V\u00e1\u0161 dal\u0161\u00ed \u017eivot, toti\u017e, abyste i nad\u00e1le z\u016fstal vesel\u00fdm Emilem! \u2014 Ozdobil jste si svoji ob\u010danskou firmu leskl\u00fdm \u0161t\u00edtkem; t\u011b\u0161te se s n\u00edm k radosti v\u0161ech t\u011bch, kdo o to maj\u00ed jistou z\u00e1sluhu. Nezapom\u00ednejte, co znamen\u00e1: je d\u016fkazem, \u017ee dovedete v\u011bdecky pracovat, ale je V\u00e1m sou\u010dasn\u011b v\u00fdzvou, \u017ee budete v\u011bdecky pracovat. V\u00e1\u0161 doktor\u00e1t je dal\u0161\u00edm stup\u00ednkem po maturit\u011b, douf\u00e1m, \u017ee nez\u016fstane posledn\u00edm. \u2014 Douf\u00e1m, \u017ee nov\u00e9ho predik\u00e1tu nezneu\u017eijete jako v\u00e1bni\u010dky na vdavk\u016f chtiv\u00e9 d\u00edvky, m\u00e1m, bohu\u017eel, velmi mnoho d\u016fkaz\u016f z posledn\u00edch dob, \u017ee posledn\u00ed sakrament je p\u0159\u00edm\u00fdm deriv\u00e1tem meteorologick\u00e9ho doktor\u00e1tu; byl bych nucen V\u00e1m zle vynadat po sv\u00e9m n\u00e1vratu, ale co hor\u0161\u00ed: mysl\u00edm, \u017ee i Vy s\u00e1m byste zle na to nad\u00e1val! S p\u0159\u00e1telsk\u00fdm pozdravem V\u00e1\u0161 Hanzl\u00edk.&#8221;<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Tato gratulace byla jedna z m\u00e1la nekonven\u010dn\u00edch, mo\u017en\u00e1 jedin\u00e1. Adres\u00e1t poznamenal v pod\u011bkov\u00e1n\u00ed<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">tak\u00e9, \u017ee okolnosti nenasv\u011bd\u010duj\u00ed tomu, \u017ee bude kr\u00e1\u010det ve \u0161l\u00e9p\u011bj\u00edch sv\u00fdch p\u0159edch\u016fdc\u016f. Ale \u010dlov\u011bk m\u00edn\u00ed \u2013 \u2013 \u2013.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">A tak za necel\u00e9 dva roky m\u011bl pa profesor znovu p\u0159\u00edle\u017eitost poslat dal\u0161\u00ed gratulaci. Neopomenul zd\u016fraznit, \u017ee podle jeho n\u00e1zoru za\u010d\u00edn\u00e1 man\u017eelstv\u00ed a\u017e ve t\u0159ech a \u017ee \u201ed\u011bti jsou to nejkr\u00e1sn\u011bj\u0161\u00ed na sv\u011bt\u011b, jsou pokra\u010do\u00adv\u00e1n\u00edm na\u0161eho \u017eivota, ony jsou nositel\u00e9 nesmrtelnosti&#8221;. Vy\u017e\u00e1dal si ov\u0161em tak\u00e9 zpr\u00e1vu o tom, a\u017e se za\u010dne mlad\u00e9 man\u017eelstv\u00ed doopravdy. Snad aby mohl mile p\u0159ekvapit a pot\u011b\u0161it novope\u010den\u00e9ho tat\u00ednka a hlavn\u011b maminku:<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">\u201eP\u0159ekvapuje mne Va\u0161e zpr\u00e1va a p\u0159ich\u00e1z\u00edm s gratulac\u00ed. Ne V\u00e1m; V\u00e1s bych odbyl jedn\u00edm ver\u0161\u00edkem, ale pro v\u00e1\u017enost okam\u017eiku nebudu ten ver\u0161 citovat. S gratulac\u00ed p\u0159ijdu, a\u017e dceru postav\u00edte do sv\u011bta, a potom, mysl\u00edm, u\u017e zde nebudu. Moje gratulace pat\u0159\u00ed mamince a v\u017edy jen mamince, a ch\u00e1pu i z\u00e1vid\u00edm hrdost jej\u00edch slov \u201em\u00e9 d\u00edt\u011b&#8221;! P\u0159eji V\u00e1m, aby ty po\u010d\u00e1te\u010dn\u00ed starosti hladce prob\u011bhly a abyste se oba t\u011b\u0161ili z jej\u00edho rozkv\u011btu. A jd\u011bte a kupte si knihu a pi\u0161te j\u00ed \u017eivotopis, bude j\u00ed to jednou nejkr\u00e1sn\u011bj\u0161\u00ed upom\u00ednkou na V\u00e1s. Srde\u010dn\u011b V\u00e1s zdrav\u00ed V\u00e1\u0161 Hanzl\u00edk.&#8221;<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Starostliv\u00fd b\u00fdval\u00fd \u0161\u00e9f nezapom\u00ednal ani pozd\u011bji na hmotn\u00e9 starosti mlad\u00e9 rodiny. A tak jednoho dne p\u0159ed v\u00edce ne\u017e dvaceti lety napsal:<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">\u201eSou\u010dasn\u011b s t\u00edmto dopisem V\u00e1m p\u00ed\u0161i i dopis Dr O. M-ovi. P\u0159ed odjezdem na letn\u00ed pobyt mne \u017e\u00e1dal o p\u0159edn\u00e1\u0161ku pro r\u00e1dio a navrhl \u201eprognosu&#8221;. Uva\u017euji o tom a navrhuji mu t\u0159i p\u0159edn\u00e1\u0161ky: 1. Prognosa kdysi, 2. Prognosa dnes, 3. Pokusy o prognosu na del\u0161\u00ed dobu nap\u0159ed. Prvn\u00ed p\u0159edn\u00e1\u0161ku budu m\u00edt j\u00e1, druhou Vy a tu t\u0159et\u00ed bu\u010f j\u00e1, nebo Dr Schneider, nebo n\u011bkdo jin\u00fd. \u2014 Kdy\u017e tento m\u016fj n\u00e1vrh bude M-em p\u0159ijat, bude na V\u00e1s, abyste si uv\u00e1\u017eil, co chcete o tom za 10 minut \u0159\u00edci; napsat si to, p\u0159edlo\u017eit Dr Schneiderovi \u2014 snad on jako direktor St\u00e1tn\u00edho \u00fastavu bude m\u00edt n\u011bjak\u00e9 p\u0159\u00e1n\u00ed \u2014 a p\u0159edn\u00e9sti to b\u011bhem 10 minut a 0 vte\u0159in v Radiu, v N\u00e1rodn\u00edm dom\u011b na Vinohradech. \u2014 J\u00e1 bych nap\u0159. shrnul do takov\u00e9 p\u0159edn\u00e1\u0161ky to, co bych \u0159ekl n\u00e1hodn\u00e9mu n\u00e1v\u0161t\u011bvn\u00edkovi u V\u00e1s v prognoze; tedy, jak a odkud dost\u00e1v\u00e1te data, jak to zn\u00e1zorn\u00edte na map\u011b, n\u011bco o front\u011b, jak se posouv\u00e1, a n\u011bco o nedostatc\u00edch progn\u00f3zy, tak aby rozum\u011bl slov\u016fm, kter\u00fdmi formulujete prognozu. \u2014 J\u00e1 v m\u00e9 p\u0159edn\u00e1\u0161ce budu mluvit o historii meteor, pozorov\u00e1n\u00ed, tedy od Asurbanipala v Mezopotamii p\u0159es \u0158ecko do It\u00e1lie k \u0158\u00edman\u016fm, a\u017e po l00let\u00fd kalend\u00e1\u0159, tedy nyn\u011bj\u0161\u00ed progn\u00f3zy se v\u016fbec nedotknu, tak\u017ee budete m\u00edt voln\u00e9 pole. Tak to hezky uva\u017ete, n\u011bjak\u00e1 stovka by z toho byla do kapsy, a to nen\u00ed \u0161patn\u00e9 ani pro asistenta st\u00e1t. meteor, \u00fastavu! \u2014 Kdyby se Dr M. neozval, brnkn\u011bte na n\u011bjve jm\u00e9nu m\u00e9m, dopoledne do Radia, odpoledne do bytu, nen\u00ed ale vylou\u010deno, \u017ee je na letn\u00edm byt\u011b! \u2014 Tak zat\u00edm hezky po\u010dk\u00e1me, co \u017ee n\u00e1m \u0159ekne M., a pak se podle toho za\u0159\u00edd\u00edme. \u2014 P\u011bkn\u011b pozdravujte dceru a m\u011bjte se dob\u0159e. A kdy\u017e u\u017e jsme v tom placht\u011bn\u00ed a naho\u0159e ve vzduchu, nemysl\u00edte, \u017ee byste jako meteorolog-letec mohl o tomto poli n\u011bco sepsat do radia? Tedy do toho! My\u0161lenka kr\u00e1sn\u00e1 za\u0165uk\u00e1-li, \u00f3 sp\u011b\u0161 a rychle otv\u00edrej, ta nep\u0159ich\u00e1z\u00ed nikdy sama, ji doprov\u00e1z\u00ed cel\u00fd rej&#8230; p\u011bje b\u00e1sn\u00edk.&#8221;<\/span><\/p><\/div><div><p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Nen\u00ed divu, \u017ee adres\u00e1t za l\u00e9ta nabyl k sv\u00e9mu v\u00e1\u017een\u00e9mu u\u010diteli pom\u011bru tak\u0159ka synovsk\u00e9ho, zvl\u00e1\u0161t\u011b za t\u011b\u017ek\u00fdch dob v\u00e1le\u010dn\u00fdch. A pan profesor ho pak po v\u00e1lce vyznamenal \u010destn\u00fdm titulem \u201edo\u017eivotn\u00edho asi\u00adstenta&#8221;.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">L\u00e9ta ub\u00edhaj\u00ed, profesor Hanzl\u00edk slav\u00ed jedno jubileum za druh\u00fdm a n\u011bjak\u00e9 ty ob\u010dasn\u00e9 zdravotn\u00ed pot\u00ed\u017ee odb\u00fdv\u00e1 tak\u00e9 s humorem (ps\u00e1no 20. ledna 1953):<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">\u201eTeprve te\u010f dost\u00e1v\u00e1m se k tomu, abych V\u00e1m odpov\u011bd\u011bl na V\u00e1\u0161 v\u00e1no\u010dn\u00ed pozdrav. V kv\u011btnu roku 1948 do\u017eije se 70 let profesor meteorologie a klimatologie na Karlov\u011b universit\u011b Dr Stanislav Hanzl\u00edk, rod\u00e1k z\u00a0Plzn\u011b.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Na\u0161e vzpom\u00ednka na tomto m\u00edst\u011b nen\u00ed pouhou form\u00e1ln\u00ed pozornost\u00ed k nestoru \u010desk\u00e9 meteorologie. Profesor Hanzl\u00edk, n\u00e1stupce prvn\u00edho \u010desk\u00e9ho meteorologa na universit\u011b profesora Augustina zas\u00e1hl svoj\u00ed v\u011bdeckou \u010dinnost\u00ed do doby, kdy se meteorologie dost\u00e1v\u00e1 do modern\u00edho stadia. A tu je pam\u011btihodn\u00e9, \u017ee k tomuto rychl\u00e9mu v\u00fdvoji meteorologie sv\u011btov\u00e9 p\u0159isp\u011bl profesor Hanzl\u00edk podstatn\u011b sv\u00fdmi tehdej\u0161\u00edmi pracemi.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">V st\u011b\u017eejn\u00edch meteorologick\u00fdch u\u010debnic\u00edch r\u016fzn\u00fdch st\u00e1t\u016f nach\u00e1z\u00edme jm\u00e9no Hanzl\u00edk, a to nejen p\u0159ed 30 lety, kdy jeho p\u0159\u00edslu\u0161n\u00e9 pr\u00e1ce byly aktu\u00e1ln\u00ed, n\u00fdbr\u017e dosud. Dnes, kdy vzestupn\u00e1 linie pokroku meteorologie dos\u00e1hla vysok\u00e9 \u00farovn\u011b a po t\u00e9to v\u00e1lce je\u0161t\u011b se neoby\u010dejn\u011b zv\u00fd\u0161ila, vyskytuj\u00ed se odkazy na Hanzl\u00edkovy pracovn\u00ed v\u00fdsledky v zahrani\u010dn\u00edch u\u010debnic\u00edch st\u00e1le. To je dokladem, \u017ee Hanzl\u00edkovy studie o stavb\u011b cyklon a anticyklon nejen nezastaraly, n\u00fdbr\u017e \u017ee \u010dasov\u00fd odstup nic neset\u0159el z\u00a0v\u00fdznamu, kter\u00fd maj\u00ed tyto pr\u00e1ce, jimi\u017e Hanzl\u00edk zdokonalil n\u00e1zor na studen\u00e9 a tepl\u00e9 cyklony a anticyklony. Bjerknes se svou \u0161kolou a jimi\u017e dynamick\u00e1 meteorologie se dostala na kolej skv\u011bl\u00e9ho praktick\u00e9ho u\u017eit\u00ed v synoptick\u00e9 a leteck\u00e9 meteorologii.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Profesor Hanzl\u00edk m\u00e1 v\u00edce jin\u00fdch prac\u00ed hlavn\u011b v oboru kol\u00eds\u00e1n\u00ed podneb\u00ed, av\u0161ak zvl\u00e1\u0161\u0165 jsme vyzvedli ty, kter\u00e9 mu zajistily natrvalo sv\u011btov\u00e9 jm\u00e9no. To je obzvl\u00e1\u0161t\u011b pro n\u00e1s \u010cechy cenn\u00e9 a nijak nezmen\u0161uje v\u00fdznam jm\u00e9na profesora Hanzl\u00edka, \u017ee pr\u00e1v\u011b pr\u00e1ce z jeho ml\u00e1d\u00ed se staly klasick\u00fdmi.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Jin\u00e1 str\u00e1nka \u010dinnosti profesora Hanzl\u00edka, kterou p\u0159ipom\u00edn\u00e1me na\u0161\u00ed ve\u0159ejnosti ve dnech jeho \u017eivotn\u00edho jubilea, je pedagogick\u00fd rys jeho p\u016fsoben\u00ed. Jsou to nejen jeho u\u010debnice podan\u00e9 tak, \u017ee jim ka\u017ed\u00fd porozum\u00ed pouh\u00fdm \u010dten\u00edm a t\u00edm si i meteorologii a klimatologii obl\u00edb\u00ed, ale je to i soustavn\u00e1 siln\u00e1 jeho snaha p\u016fsobit na sv\u00e9 \u017e\u00e1ky a sv\u00e9 okol\u00ed, aby se dbalo ryzosti v\u011bdeck\u00e9ho sm\u011bru. Profesor Hanzl\u00edk povzbuzuje k odborn\u00e9 \u010dinnosti v takov\u00e9m \u00faseku, kter\u00fd je ka\u017ed\u00e9mu jeho \u017e\u00e1ku vlastn\u00ed a ne\u00fanavn\u011b pot\u00edr\u00e1 \u0161arlat\u00e1nstv\u00ed, kter\u00e9 v meteorologii bujelo a buj\u00ed st\u00e1le jako plevel v obil\u00ed.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">R\u00e1zovit\u00e1 je osobnost profesora Hanzl\u00edka. Jeho z\u00e1liba v cestov\u00e1n\u00ed je velmi na prosp\u011bch jeho v\u00fdklad\u016fm a debat\u00e1m z meteorologie a klimatologie. Dod\u00e1v\u00e1 jim barvitosti a zvl\u00e1\u0161tn\u00ed \u017eivosti, a\u0165 u\u017e jsou neseny v duchu moudrosti zem\u00ed monsunov\u00fdch, nebo jasn\u00e9 a praktick\u00e9, tak jak to odpov\u00edd\u00e1 zp\u016fsobu vlastn\u00edmu Americe, s podmalov\u00e1n\u00edm bezm\u00e1la um\u011bleck\u00fdm, z\u0159ejm\u011b v duchu jeho um\u011bleck\u00e9ho kolegy na Harwardsk\u00e9 universit\u011b van Loona, autora p\u0159ekr\u00e1sn\u00e9 knihy o um\u011bn\u00ed. \u010cl\u00e1nky a p\u0159edn\u00e1\u0161ky profesora Hanzl\u00edka jsou \u010dasto zam\u011b\u0159eny v\u00fdsti\u017en\u011b na klimatologii \u010dlov\u011bka.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"rtejustify\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\">Sedmdes\u00e1tka je pro profesora Hanzl\u00edka jen p\u0159\u00edle\u017eitost\u00ed k retrospektiv\u011b o vykonan\u00e9 pr\u00e1ci a mezn\u00edkem p\u0159i pl\u00e1nov\u00e1n\u00ed dal\u0161\u00ed \u010dinnosti.
